Main responsibilities:
  • Ensure the implementation and operational follow-up of action plans derived from the strategies, in close collaboration with the procurement network and stakeholders.
  • Provide support to the Global Lead Buyer of the category to ensure the execution of the strategy and sourcing execution and work closely with procurement services to leverage as much as possible the middle and back-offices services.
  • Maintain knowledge of supply chain best practices and industry benchmarks and provide solutions & alternatives for Spare parts process improvement including integrators & OEM's management.
  • Develop & implement and delivers savings pipeline in line with targets and lead global RFIs/RFPs and contract negotiations for maintenance category and report on status, savings, performance, and risks on the sourcing activities for maintenance category
  • Stay informed on current industry trends and new market developments and undertake benchmarking against other industries and best practices while acting as a change agent
  • Run robust Supplier Management with business reviews & performance management Ensure mastery of Procurement technical excellence (TCO, SRM, Market Intel, Risk Management, Innovation, CSR, HSE, compliance, quality...),
  • Communicate departmental vision & goals and issue Resolution: Manage and resolve any issues with suppliers.

About you

Experience:
  • 4+ years' experience in Procurement Maintenance experience in pharma industry.
  • Technical knowledge of Spare Parts Management, reverse engineering, Additive manufacturing & Lathing/milling/coating technologies.
  • Good understanding of inventory management and FIFO practices.
  • Knowledge of Pharma GMP work environment.
  • Proven experience into remote maintenance contract deployment and machinery connectivity and censoring.
  • Good understanding of finance and legal aspects.
  • Trained into crisis management.

Soft skills:
  • Results oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, notably on large data sets.
  • Knowledge of SAP MM module and any CMMS tool.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Flexible, receptive, resourceful, creative, and results oriented.
  • Proven project management and technical and commercial Negotiation.
  • Communication skills: Assertiveness, ability to convince/influence others and excellent presentation skills.
  • Able to quickly assimilate new information/skills.
  • Readily adapts to new environment, processes, ways of working.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal sensitivity.
  • Role model in compliance and ethics.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business or another relevant field.

Languages:
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English required.
