As Regional Category Buyer Human Resource Services (HRS) for Europe region you will be responsible for implementing sourcing strategies according to category management strategies and leading sourcing for the category of spend & geographic scope assigned, and across all business units. Core subcategories will be Rewards & Performance, Car fleet, Learning & Development, Business Process Outsourcing.
This includes activities such as, but not limited to, partnering with the internal business teams to support their objectives, assist with building project scopes, consolidate all business needs and specification, conduct Global Request for Proposal (RFP), negotiate contracts renewals, rate cards / discount schedules, and manage overall relationships with key suppliers.
You will be the procurement expert in the Europe region for HRS services while managing all additional procurement categories of the professional services domain in Europe and France when required:
- Real Estate and Workplace Services (Real Estate, Facility Management, Building Maintenance, Security Services, Working Garments, Personal Protective Equipment, Office Supplies, Translation).
- Total Talent Management (temporary workers, managed services, recruitment services (Rewards & Performance, Car fleet, Learning & Development, Business Process Outsourcing).
- Corporate Services (Travel, Consulting, insurance, Legal & Financial services).
The overall spend under his/her supervision is about +85M€ spend/year.
This position part of Professional Services (PS) Domain, will report to the PS Regional Category Manager for France & Europe Region.
Main responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Strategic Execution: Collaborate with the Global Lead Buyer or Regional Category Manager to implement and execute category strategies effectively.
- Data Management: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH) to generate actionable insights and optimize procurement processes.
- Procurement Leadership: Lead RFIs, RFPs, and contract negotiations to ensure value delivery, cost savings, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Project Contribution: Manage or contribute to local projects, providing updates on savings, performance, and risks while adhering to category management guidelines.
- Supplier Management: Implement and oversee Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs to strengthen partnerships and drive efficiency.
- Compliance & Audits: Ensure adherence to procurement policies, manage audits, and address non-compliance issues, including risk and crisis management.
- Industry Benchmarking: Stay updated on market trends, benchmark best practices, and introduce innovative solutions to enhance procurement strategies.
- Collaborative Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers, ensuring alignment and mutual support.
- Strategy Communication: Present procurement strategies to stakeholders, incorporating their input to achieve shared business objectives.
About you
Experience:
- 6-10+ years of experience in Procurement or a related field, with a track record of success in delivering impactful results.

- Procurement Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of procurement techniques and best practices.
- Analytical Abilities: Skilled in tools like PowerBI, advanced Excel, and Thinkcell to analyze data and inform decision-making.
- Strategic Thinking: Balances long-term priorities with immediate operational challenges, ensuring effective execution.
- Adaptability: Quick to learn, highly flexible, and ready to embrace new environments, processes, and innovations.
- Collaboration & Communication: Proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders, foster teamwork, and communicate effectively through negotiation and presentations.
- Problem-Solving & Creativity: Challenges existing norms with innovative ideas and solutions, ensuring process improvements and outcomes.
- Ethical Leadership: Exemplifies integrity and seeks continuous improvement through feedback.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (Master's degree preferred).
Languages:
- Fluent in English (required).
- Proficiency in German or other European languages is a plus.
