JOB PURPOSE

Korea is one of the largest businesses in multi country ASEA zone with a revenue of ~53M€. Reporting to the Performance Analytics Head of ASEA, this role is responsible for provision of clear, complete and unbiased view on performance of the country to enable growth activation strategies and commercial execution excellence.
  • Leading Korea business analytics: sales and share reporting, performance tracking. Continuously provide integrated view of performance using various resources & data. Provide analytical support for decision making and resource allocation. Provide a clear view on the performance of our portfolio vs. competition / vs. forecasts. Identify alerts and opportunities in partnership with the Brand teams. Activate Performance mindset across organisation
  • Act as analytical business partner: facilitate Korea CHC Country head decision making by providing business analysis and sound recommendations, assist in preparation of performance related communication materials and executive-level presentations
  • Leading data and digital edge capabilities for Korea: applying best practice on data capabilities and leading an additional/ new capability for the country (forecasting/ dashboarding/ data visualization etc.). Manage database systems and data providers in alignment with ASEA zone best practices

KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Business analysis and insights: Bringing together the performance metrics, maintaining sales and market data definitions and analysis, create and share monthly deliverables on performance KPIs, particularly on market share and sell in/sell out, TRAX. Compiling various in-market analyses like price-volume-NPD analysis, market assumptions forecasts, competitive reviews & business reviews. Manage regular and ad-hoc requests, day-to-day updates and coordination of key data sets.
  • Data Governance: Knowledge owner of the mechanics of the various data sources in the country and be abreast with evolving changes. Able to bring together a country view of performance using internal (SISO) and external data (IQVIA, Kantar). Be the key point of contact for the country Performance Analytics Head of ASEA on the integrity of local data. Support any clarification, remedial actions required. Establish relationships with external data providers, constantly evaluate new service offering new/additional source of information that can be leveraged (incl. e-commerce, off-take, HCP recommendations)
  • Drive data and Digital Capability Initiatives: Ensure data integrity and implementation of the local/region/global automated dashboards and/or tool for data visualization. Support / lead zone data automation projects.
  • Sales force Effectiveness: Incentive Scheme design, management, and analysis. Track & monitor the performance to manage sales incentive for sales team.
  • Embed "Brand-led mindset" in our work as Performance Analytics team: act a "brand champion" for several brands in ASEA zone and be a single points of contact for Zone Brand Leads for cross-country insights generation, coordination and alignment on cross-country analytical requests and in-market performance updates.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Education:
  • Higher education in economics, finance or business administration

Required knowledge and/or experience:
  • 5-years' experience in analytics / performance management / business intelligence in the FMCG or Consumer Healthcare/ OTC industry
  • Background in consulting (Big-4, Strategy & Operations) or strategic planning is a plus
  • A well-developed business acumen and curiosity
  • Influential, collaborative with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience in cross-functional project management
  • Team spirit, collaborative, proactive, assertive with strong presentation skills
  • Ability to translate business questions/challenges into analytical plan and vice-versa the business understanding to translate analytical outcomes into possible business decisions
  • Demonstrate ability to navigate through complexity, process information and incorporate feedback into an interactive business conversation
  • Comfortable in highly matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders

Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in usingMS Office Word,MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Power BI, Think-Cell

Language skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and spoken) in local language and English
