Our Team:
You will be a part of the Europe Business Analysis & Controlling Center of Excellence (CoE) within the Opella Global Finance team, aimed at building a best-in-class BA&C organization supporting European countries of the EULA Region. This CoE, strategically located in Budapest, provides high-quality finance services for Commercial Operations, ensuring improved processes, tools & enhanced user experience, strengthens business focus and BA&C expertise, as well as promotes simplification, harmonization and automation within the Opella Finance organization.

The main focus of the BA&C CoE team is P&L execution, including Actuals closing, forecasting, reporting & analysis as well as partnering to local Finance Performance Leads & Business stakeholders.
Job Purpose:
- Build & lead a high-performing team of BA&C analysts (6HC) to drive centralization and standardization of controlling processes (including monthly closing & forecast) in the region, while ensuring the daily business continuity across countries and markets.
- A key role in animation, coordination & coaching of the team, driving BA&C RACI implementation in the region.
Transformation Management
- Support transformation project related to centralization and standardization of controlling processes evolving from a country-based controlling to transversal controlling processes in close cooperation with BA&C Process Excellence & Solutions Lead.
- As per core model ensure proper implementation of BA&C RACI.
- Work closely with the BA&C partners and country Finance Performance Leads to identify & eliminate gaps in controlling processes.
- Drive continuous improvement on the ways of working: define, propose and apply best practices from within BA&C or external best-in-class practices.
- Accountable for the efficient, high quality and compliant controlling processes related to Structural Costs & COGS budgeting and forecasting as well as closing and reporting.
- Ensure that this end-to-end processes are highly efficient, cost-effective, high quality and agile in order to meet internal customer satisfaction (FPLs, BA&C partners) and achieve operational KPI targets.
- Ensure Compliance and Internal Control standards are met. Perform necessary controls and act as a role model, in line with all ethical & compliance rules.
- Manage and arbitrate planning and priorities of team workload.
- Animate, coordinate & coach the team.
- Supervise and monitor the individual performance of his/her team (individual development plan, training plan, objectives, career development).
- Be a role model for the team.
- Create a culture of cooperation, collaboration and teamwork across regional BA&C and FPLs' teams within the countries and ensure a smooth interface & communication to the relevant stakeholders.
- Organize, attend and contribute to the functional and coordination meetings.
- Monitor to ensure budgeting and reporting within Global calendar.
- Other ad hoc projects.
- Experience: 8-10 years' service delivery and management in finance controlling environment, Very strong expertise in financial processes, Prior experience of working in a global environment. Proven record of successful team leadership through transformation.

- Technical skills: Proficiency in Excel, ERP (e.g., SAP), reporting tools (e.g., TM1) and data visualization platforms (Power BI, Qlik sense, etc.)
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance is required, ACCA and/or CIMA, CFA is preferred
- Languages: fluency in English is required, 2nd foreign language knowledge is preferred (French, German, Italian)
