Main responsibilities:
- As a Senior R Clinical Analytics Specialist (CAS), you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of multiple, complex R-based packages and RShiny applications. You will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior CAS members, and drive innovation in R package and RShiny development practices.
- Collaborate with junior Clinical Analytics Specialist, Statistical Scientists, project leads and other stakeholders to design, develop, document, test and maintain multiple, complex R-based packages and RShiny applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability, following internal and external guidance's.
- Mentor junior CAS members, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and knowledge sharing to foster their professional growth and ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and propose technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Drive innovation in R package and RShiny development practices, exploring new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and quality.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and guidelines for R package and RShiny development within the team.
- Conduct performance optimizations and code refactoring to improve the overall efficiency and reliability of R-based software solutions.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in R programming language, data visualization, and web application development, and integrate new technologies into existing solutions as appropriate.
About you
- Experience: Should have Experience of 7+ Years in Statistical reporting, Statistics, Data Science role within the Pharma Industry or CRO and R and Shiny programming.
- Soft Skill & Technical Skills Proven track record of successfully developing, implementing, and maintaining complex R based analytic solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with agile software development methodologies and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira), version control systems (e.g., Git), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Education: Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- Languages: Highly effective communication in English, both oral and written.
