The GI team in Waltham is seeking a highly motivated and creative Co-op to support the R&D company pipeline objectives. The candidate should have knowledge of standard laboratory practices to plan and perform at the bench immune assays using established or in development protocols and analyze experimental data using standard analytical tools with supervision from staff scientists. The candidate will be required to provide data reporting and ensures quality, traceability and robustness of the results. He/she will design, improve and optimize protocols, perform experiments, analyze data, prepare reports/slide presentations. The scientist will be responsible for performing job functions while maintaining GRP and HSE standards and policies.

About you

Basic Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing an bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry or Molecular Biology with the expectation that you will complete your current degree by Spring 2027
  • Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship/co-op with Sanofi.
  • Must be able to relocate to our Waltham, MA office location and work 40hrs./week for the full duration of the Co-op
  • Must have permanent US work authorization
  • A passion for bench work, data analysis, and reporting excellence is a must

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with laboratory automation equipment and knowledge of immunoassays and immunoassay-based instruments, including multi-mode plate readers, is desirable.
