What Your Job Will Be Like:
We are seeking motivated undergraduate students in CLIMATE SCIENCE who are interested in pursuing their passion by working side-by-side with world experts at Sandia's Future Of Research for Climate, Earth and Energy (FORCEE) Intern Institute. Our Climate Science interns take on challenges in modeling and understanding the interactions between the Earth's atmosphere, lithosphere, hydrosphere, cryosphere, and biosphere, and the cascading impacts and feedbacks those interactions have on manmade and natural systems in a changing climate. Technical activities cover the spectrum of analytical climate science including computer simulation, data inversion, optimization, uncertainty quantification, algorithm development, downscaling, and impact analysis.
