Role and Responsibilities
Make and coordinate each project's schedule, including entry and approval, and test plan. Report risk points such as blocking issues before launch or carrier entry date, as well as follow up on issues. Test and evaluate mobile features to ensure that products contain no unidentifiable problems. Work with developers and project managers in testing functional and performance tests in various networks against various network vendors in the U.S. Design and implement test strategies, test plans, functional and performance test cases, policies infrastructures for ensuring high quality hardware and software for Samsung wireless mobile devices. Create, implement, maintain and recommend changes to test cases, test procedures and instructions, and product evaluation processes. Promote standard test methodologies for use throughout the company. Remain informed on the latest test tools, techniques, trends and methodologies and critically adopt them when appropriate. Gather specifications of products and understand the test scope, schedule, effort, resources, and execution plan. Understand requirements and correctly translate them to set up test designs/cases, and constantly improve on those test cases. Manage issues and follow up with issue status to ensure all issues are fixed. Detect critical issues in a timely manner to increase Samsung mobile device's quality and stability in a rapidly progressing mobile industry.

Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or related role. Applicants must have 5 years of experience in the following: (1) Technical writing; (2) Android, iOS or Windows platforms; (3) Automation tool knowledge (python/Java); (4) designing and implementing test strategies, test plans, functional and performance test cases, and policies infrastructures for ensuring quality hardware and software; and (5) Test and evaluate mobile features. 10% domestic travel required.
