Position Summary
Provide pre-sales engineering support for the North America sales subsidiaries, system integrators and/or end customers with Samsung Solutions.
Role and Responsibilities
Provide pre-sales engineering support for the North America sales subsidiaries, system integrators and/or end customers with Samsung Solutions. Support Samsung subsidiaries, System Integrators with design and architectural drawings of Indoor LED, LCD Videowall, outdoor displays, AV distribution/switching systems, IP networking. Support System Integrators and End customers to optimize the usage of Software solution (customization/integration in their solution), which include Samsung MagicInfo Content Management Software and Tizen platform (SSSP). Support technical issues regarding SSSP, LED, LFD and other B2B display solution products in North America. Create presentation materials for training. Provide training to field engineers, clients, customer support teams. Liaise with key industry partners in Digital Signage marketplace and provide proactive market intelligence to HQ. Support customers with technical solutions, including implementation and some maintenance support. Coordinate with multiple workgroups to ensure business task is completed. Attend and support the Samsung and/or partner events.

Skills and Qualifications
Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, a related field, or foreign equivalent and 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related role. Applicants must possess 2 years of experience in the following: (1) Modeling using Computer Aid Design (CAD) tool; (2) Sales Engineering, Digital Signage, and the Display industry; (3) Project Management including Utilizing Gantt Chart to manage project; (4) Database Management; (5) developing documentations for response to commercial RFP, RFIs, and RFQs; (6) researching and authoring technical whitepapers; and (7) environmental analysis for Installation site. 20% domestic travel required.
