Position Summary

Function as a member of the Full Stack Software Engineering SCRUM team.

Role and Responsibilities

Function as a member of the Full Stack Software Engineering SCRUM team. Build high availability, cloud based, advertisement solutions. Quickly prototype and develop consumer-facing services that will be displayed on millions of devices. Communicate ideas to peers and distributed teams. Contribute towards building a system with a test-driven development/ agile approach. Perform rapid deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting around the cloud hosted environments.

Skills and Qualifications

Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or related role. In Lieu of a Master's degree and 2 years of experience, Employer is willing to accept a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or related role. Applicants must have 2 years of experience (5 years in possession of a relevant Bachelor's degree) in the following: (1) Core web technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3; (2) Ruby on Rails as well as libraries including Resque and RSpec; (3) Database technologies (MySQL, PostgreSQL); (4) React UI framework; (5) SCM Source Code Management systems and tools including GIT; (6) REST APIs in JavaScript/NodeJS; and (7) Scalable & Distributed Systems.
