Position Summary
Responsible for the management of Samsung Wireless Networks sales for the target accounts based out of our Philadelphia office. This role will:
Independently develop and execute sales plans to achieve sales revenue targets for 4G/5G RAN, Core, In-building, Small Cells & Services portfolio
Have direct selling and high touch relationship building responsibility in one of Samsung Electronics America's (SEA's) most important strategic accounts.
Role and Responsibilities
- Responsible for revenue generation of both new and existing account(s)
- Foster strong relationships with key customer contacts
- Manage communications, sales promotion development and training as required
- Establish strategic relationships with teams within Samsung both in the US and Korea
- Manage cross-functional teams during promotion and launch of new solutions
- Direct the resolution of complex operational and organizational problems.

Skills and Qualifications
Background/Experience:
- Advanced degree in business or similar field and minimum 15+ years of directly related sales experience is required.
- 5/10 years of experience in technology sales and/or business development is required.
- Prior experience in technology sales and /or business development with a telecom operator highly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as strong negotiation and client management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office products including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Necessary Skills and attributes:
- Demonstrated ability to interact at all levels within a customer's organizations.
- The ability to negotiate with and convince others, in a potentially challenging environment, including customer's executive leadership, VPs, Directors and Managers that may have opposing views to accept/approve plans, technical and project recommendations.
- The ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple sales and business development activities simultaneously in order to meet performance objectives.
- The ability to write, read, interpret, explain and act based on thorough understanding of technical documents, engineering materials and contracts, and / or related documents based on corporate legal, customer applications, engineering standards and business philosophy.
- Ability to make professional sales and business presentations in writing, through email, reports, or orally, including complex business and technical matters to an audience with high technical skills, management and operational experience.
- Ability to direct a cross-functional Samsung team to achieve customer contracted objectives and team goals and to achieve results within established time frames and requirements.
- The ability to develop clearly defined sales and business objectives, to make decisions, to give direction, and to measure individual/team performance and business results.
- Ability to negotiate and reach agreement through discussions and compromise.
Physical/Mental Demands:
Work is generally performed in an office or home office environment, which could include operating a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal more than 50% of work time. Requires considerable work utilizing high visual acuity / detail, numeric / character distinction and moderate hand / finger dexterity. The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time is under 25 pounds. Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenges and project management deadlines. Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids include PC's, printers, copiers, faxes and other equipment commonly associated with an office work area. May require working additional hours beyond normal schedule. Travel is not expected to be over 25%.
