About the Role:

As a Sales Operations Business Partner, you’ll work closely with our sales leadership to design, implement, and optimize key processes that enhance the effectiveness of Samsara’s global sales organization. You will play a strategic role in supporting Samsara’s growth beyond $1BN in revenue by aligning people, processes, and technology to improve the pre-sales customer journey. This role will have a tangible impact on how our sales team operates, scales, and supports our customers across diverse industries.

This is an in-office position open to candidates based in our Mexico City office.

You should apply if:

  • You want to impact the industries that run our world: Your efforts will result in real-world impact—helping to keep the lights on, get food into grocery stores, and most importantly, ensure workers return home safely.
  • You have innate curiosity in how businesses work: One day you’ll meet with someone in waste management and the next you may be learning about the inner workings of a food distribution center. Our top sales team members seek to learn the ins and outs of the businesses they support in order to make a larger impact.
  • You build genuine relationships with your customers: The industries we serve have relied on pen-and-paper solutions for years and haven’t been met with the type of technology we offer. Our customers value earned trust and human relationships built over time.
  • You want to be with the best: Samsara’s high-performance culture means you’ll be surrounded by the best and challenged to go farther than you have before.
  • You are a team player: At Samsara, sales is a team sport. We help each other out by sharing best practices and focus on winning as a team.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with Senior Sales Leadership to develop and execute optimizations that result in efficiency gains and revenue capture for our sales organization
  • Be “the voice of sales”, leading cross-functional projects and initiatives to introduce new capabilities, processes, and improvements within the sales team.
  • Prioritize and assess operational needs, creating a long-term roadmap based on business impact and feasibility.
  • Optimize issue resolution for sales by monitoring support tickets, identifying trends, and ensuring resolutions paths are effectively used and executed.
  • Identify key areas for improvement by leveraging operational measurements and analyzing data for actionable insights, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Champion Samsara’s values and principles (Customer Success, Long-Term Growth, Growth Mindset, Inclusivity, and Teamwork) as we expand globally.

Minimum requirements for this role:

  • 6+ years of experience in Sales Operations or a related growth/operations role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional experience selling software or equivalent experience demonstrating an ability to understand the perspective of a sales representative.
  • Proven ability to drive organizational change through complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and familiarity with the sales technology ecosystem.
  • Strong organizational and business judgment with experience in managing end-to-end projects.
  • Ability to create compelling narratives and insights from data, inspiring others towards a common goal.
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills to navigate sales policies and processes at every level of the organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or engineering preferred
  • English fluency is required

Ideal requirements for this role:

  • Salesforce administration experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Product Management or Six Sigma best practices is advantageous but not required.
  • Lead generation and marketing platform experience a strong bonus.
