The Web Optimization Manager is responsible for the management of web experience optimization across Tableau properties. Driven by a focus on website performance metrics and optimizing customer journeys, this role will leverage technical, business, and people skills to ensure online experiences, features, content, and designs maximize sales leads, customer retention and/or online revenue, while maintaining a high standard of quality and delivering on time. You will also develop program methodologies which are maintainable, scalable, and approachable. This role requires a range of skills encompassing: web testing and web personalization as well as familiarity with creative and web development processes. Our team does world class work and moves quickly. This role requires a broad range of skills encompassing A/B testing, basic project management, user experience design, web analytics, and stakeholder management, as well as familiarity with creative and development processes.

Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Own the A/B testing program for Tableau to manage testing requests through life cycle of intake, scoping/requirement gathering/refinement, planning, execution, reporting supporting internal stakeholders
  • Use web analytics and conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques to improve Tableau's website and landing pages
  • Analyze results to provide recommendations on delivering optimized web experiences through data driven decisions, documentation, training, etc.
  • Communicate and report on the status of requests to stakeholders and ensure they know where their requests are in each stage of the project development/deployment lifecycle.
  • Employ user research tools to test new ideas

Required Skills:

  • Experience or familiarity with various A/B testing frameworks and testing principles
  • 3-5+ years experience in Website Management experience
  • 2+ years experience facilitating solutions between business and technical teams.
  • Deep understanding of web experience and user experience design and strong understanding of web front end technologies, HTML, Javascript, CSS
  • Experience with Drupal or exposure to other enterprise level CMS with localization/internationalization features is highly desirable
  • Basic Agile Project Management experience, including issue tracking systems, bugs, etc.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience collaborating with a team of cross-functional disciplines - developers, designers, writers, etc to reach project goals
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills
  • A talented communicator, analytical problem solver and creative thinker
  • A willingness to jump in when needed and go find answers, as well as a desire to learn
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Ability to see the bigger picture and prioritize accordingly
  • Keep abreast of the latest website tools, trends, and time savers and ability to effectively share this knowledge with others
  • Ability to lend a hand in debugging problems within a helpful team of collaborators

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $121,800 to $167,400.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
