The Customer Centric Reliability Engineering (CCRE) organization is looking for a VP, SRE to lead its SRE organization.

Our ideal candidate combines deep technical knowledge, strong software engineering leadership and customer compassion craftign and build availability focused solutions to enable Salesforce, its customers (and their customers) to be continuously available. You have successfully run, and grown 100+ person global teams.

To be successful, you have lived experiences leading large culture transformations and role transformations. Salesforce has adopted a Service Ownership culture, but is still very much on that journey. You consistently break through obstacles, work horizontally, and turn "hard, sophisticated" problems into bite-sized tractable solutions that find ways to deliver measured value quickly. Communication is a strength, both written and in person. Your executive presence is comfortable and articulate because you regularly work with these customers. You are a phenomenal leader who develops their team to do great things and you encourage those around you.
