About the Team: The Salesforce AI Product Marketing team is a multidisciplinary group of storytellers and technologists that strive to make the complex simple through clear messaging, accessible explainers, and deep technical content that communicates the value of AI. In partnership with product, sales and engineering teams, we work across Salesforce to bring the future of Digital Labor and AI-powered CRM to life. Our mission is to create relevant, accurate, and compelling content that builds credibility for our AI platform and brings clarity to AI concepts.
Primary Role: The primary role of the Technical Content Manager is to develop deep technical content that demystifies our AI platform and gives our customers practical examples of how agents will transform their business. You'll write technical thought leadership pieces, product explainers, architectural whitepapers, and more. You'll work closely with subject matter experts from product, engineering, and research, but should also bring your own point of view about they types of questions a technical practitioner needs answers for in the agentic AI era. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building apps with Salesforce, a deep curiosity for how AI will reshape the future of work, and a proven track record of creating credible and compelling content for technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content development: You'll join a team of content creators who are producing content that explains AI product & product-related concepts, technical thought leadership whitepapers, and details how Salesforce, and our customers, are using agents to transform the future of work.
- Collaborate with teams: You'll work closely with product, engineering, and research teams to identify content gaps and develop credible and accurate technical assets. You'll also collaborate with our marketing demo lab to ensure we're showing AND telling how our products work.
- Content strategy: You'll help uphold the content strategy established by the team, and bring your own point of view about what type of content our technical buyers and customers need now.
- Practitioner's mindset: You'll stay hands-on with our products and keep up-to-date with what's happening in the AI industry at large.
Essential Skills:
- 3+ years hands-on experience building apps with Salesforce
- 5+ years of experience in technical content creation from ideation to publication
- A deep curiosity for how AI will reshape the future of work
- Experience developing technical diagrams that help communicate complex ideas
- Familiarity with SEO/SEM strategies a plus
- A sharp eye for detail and the ability to adhere to consistent writing standards
- A get-it-done attitude, and comfort with ambiguity

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $115,600 to $194,300.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
