About the Role:
Join Salesforce as a Solution Engineering Intern working alongside the AMER CBS leader of Solutions and help empower businesses to achieve their goals through innovative technology solutions! As part of the Solution Engineering internship team, you'll bridge the gap between business challenges and technical capabilities, demonstrating the value of Salesforce's products to prospective and current customers.

What is a Solution Engineer?
Otherwise known as a " Pre -Sales Engineer" or "Sales Consultant," the Solution Engineer is responsible for presenting product offerings and architecture in the best light to prospects and customers, to evoke confidence in company's technology infrastructure, and to remove all technical objections in the sales cycle. To accomplish this, the Solution Engineer must have a strong desire to leverage their technical and/or sales skills, including the ability to solicit business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, configure and effectively demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements and provide business value.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with Solution Engineers, Account Executives, and other cross-functional teams to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Hands-On Learning: Gain deep expertise in Salesforce products, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Agentforce, Data Cloud and more.
  • Build Demo Solutions: Use your creativity to design and present dynamic product demonstrations and proof of concepts for potential clients.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze complex business processes and provide technical recommendations that align with customers' goals.
  • Develop Soft Skills: Hone your communication, storytelling, and presentation skills by interacting with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to Success: Assist in creating technical responses to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and other customer inquiries.

Who You Are:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields graduating in Winter 2025.
  • Passionate about technology and customer-centric solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communicator with an ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Eager to learn, adapt, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms (a plus but not required).
  • Interest in pre-sales or consultative roles.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with cloud computing and SaaS technologies.
  • Basic understanding of programming languages like JavaScript, Apex, or SQL.
