About the Position
The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Solutions Engineering team is a diverse group of technology and business process experts that support direct sales to prospects, customers, and partners by creating, packaging, and demonstrating innovative solutions tailored to client needs.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a market leader in digital marketing, encompassing Data, Advertising, Inbound Marketing (web, mobile), and Outbound marketing (email, SMS, mobile, web, Ads, human touch channels) and their orchestration.
The role of the Solution Engineer is to collaborate with the Account Executive in discovery, assess solution fit and commercial opportunity, build a solution and architecture vision, and provide proof through presentations, demos, RFP responses, proof of concepts, and business cases. This includes presenting to various levels within the customer organization, from specialist roles and digital and marketing managers to Director and C-Level executives in General Management, Marketing, and IT.
Requirements
- Proven track record of success with several years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in B2C industries such as Retail, CPG, Financial Services, Travel & Transport, etc.
- Excellent presentation skills, comfortable presenting to diverse audiences, from a crowd of a thousand to a CMO or two developers.
- Familiarity with running discovery workshops, proof of concepts, and applying design thinking techniques.
- Ability to switch quickly between different modes of thinking and tasks.
- Self-starter who is highly creative and able to manage and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work with the sales team to understand and present a business case to clients, articulating a technical solution and highlighting business benefits in a language they understand.
- Deep technical expertise in any of the following domains: digital marketing, customer data platforms, advertising, commerce, BI & Analytics, Web analytics, CRM, CMS.
- Knowledge of modern marketing and web technologies.
- Strong conceptual understanding of database design and proficiency in database queries.
- BA/BS preferred or equivalent work experience with demonstrated proficiency.
- Fluent in English + Danish + Right to Work in Denmark.

- You have prior digital marketing experience.
- You have worked for a SaaS computing company.
- You have presented and sold to marketers before.
