Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering MTS in Dallas, TX:

Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Understand all aspects of Enterprise application configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including all changes and potential system implications related to ongoing releases. Debug code, review technical design, implement monitoring systems, build automation, and deploy to production. Provide guidance on the system governance, APIs, profiles, and security model. Maintain updated system documentation and Salesforce policies/procedures. Transfer knowledge throughout the organization, lead knowledge transition sessions, and mentor junior staff and new hires. Stay updated with Salesforce's technological advancements to improve the current processes. Work with multi-functional teams to identify technology modifications that will affect business processes. Provide support for all system/service components, including installation, configuration, and maintenance. Partner with various teams to implement new functionality via Agile-based processes; activities include service planning, configuration, operational readiness assessments, run list reviews, and code deployments. Run tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment, drive all issues to resolution with a solid focus on customer satisfaction and efficient task execution. Maintain and demonstrate 100% compliance with all written security policies, SOX procedures, and organizational change controls. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer & Information Sciences, Information Quality, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Triggers; (2) Apex Code; (3) Visualforce; (4) Java ; (5) SOSL; (6) SOQL; (7) Web Services; (8) HTML & CSS; and (9) JavaScript. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
