Software Engineering LMTS/PMTS

This candidate must have the technical prowess to write fast and efficient code, find inefficiencies and influence others to make performance improvements. In addition, this engineer needs to measure and demonstrate performance gains in a scientific way, by building/running workloads or simulations. The candidate should be comfortable in discussing time/space complexity using O(n) notation and engage in a project's design phase for its performance and scalability considerations. You are a performance specialist, and a goto person for performance related issues and challenges.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience optimizing performance and scale challenges
Strong knowledge of Java, JavaScript or any other programming language.
Strong knowledge of Database, SQL performance, SQL tuning and optimization.
Experience building and optimizing B2C services with hundred of millions of users.
Very strong knowledge of Java performance and scale desired
Experience with cloud native architectures on AWS, GCP or be AWS Cloud certified practitioner
Ability to identify limitations and offer solutions to challenging engineering problems
Performance Engineering experience with a distinguished track record on technically demanding project
Experience with performance testing, analysis, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise software. Able to research and propose optimizations, and write POC code where required.
Distributed systems debugging
Able to work with Dev, QE and Product Management teams to understand requirements.
Outstanding attention to detail and communication skills
Ability to analyze / interpret technical data
Ability to identify / resolve system bottlenecks
Ability to identify potential limitations in software architectures
Ability to write clear and concise technical documents

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $184,000 to $306,600.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $200,800 to $334,600.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
