Job Duties: Lead impactful projects that drive business growth by creating reliable and scalable solutions. Expertly develop and deliver high-quality, robust code with a keen attention to detail, ensuring optimal software performance, reliability, and adherence to best practices in coding standards. With Salesforce, manage the full software development lifecycle for new features including requirement gathering, analysis, design, implementation, testing (both unit and integration), deployment, and maintenance. Ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions by utilizing object-oriented programming language and application frameworks. Build features, design, and implement API methods, and improve the performance and reliability of the systems. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Tech Leads, Security, Engineering Manager, QA team, and fellow Software Development Engineers (SDE), while actively providing clear project status and timelines to ensure clarity and cohesion in project development. Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders, driving software solutions that directly impact key business objectives. Effectively manage tasks to align with business goals, addressing identified bugs and continually driving improvement with a focus on addressing customer feedback. Demonstrate proficiency in understanding customer requirements and recognizing the implications of delivered work on business operations and end-user experience ensuring that each solution is meticulously tailored to precisely address specific customer needs. Contribute to the overall health of existing systems by updating system documentation, addressing technical debt, and employing strategies for code refactoring and optimization using object-oriented design patterns to enhance readability, performance, and scalability. Adopt logging services to facilitate debugging, monitoring, and gaining insights into customer usage and other critical system metrics. Participate and lead technical design reviews for new features engaging with Tech Leads, Staff Engineers, Security Engineers, and other SDEs. Interface with teams managing CI/CD pipelines to facilitate code building, testing, and deployment across various environments. Provide assistance to the skilled support and operations teams in triaging and resolving production issues, including providing on-call support for 24-hour shifts or week-long rotations as required. Actively participate or lead various Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives. Provide mentorship to other SDEs on the team through knowledge-sharing sessions, code reviews, and providing feedback. Telecommuting is an option.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Microservices architecture with REST API, Spring Boot and Spring MVC framework. (2) Distributed cloud computing solutions with AWS services: EC2, S3, Cloudwatch, Codebuild, CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, DynamoDB, Lambda, SNS, SQS, IoT (3) Programming: Java, Python, Groovy, HTML, CSS, Javascript (4) Databases: Postgres, MySQL (5) Testing framework: Junit (6) Version control system: Git (7) Confluence and JIRA for project management (8) On-call support (9) Logging: Datadog, AWS Cloudwatch, Splunk (10) Enterprise Integration and Analytics Solution Tools (11) Enterprise software development methodology and programming paradigms: Agile Project Management, Object Oriented Programming, and Design Patterns. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.

Salary: $167,300.00 - $276,100.00 per annum.

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $167,300 to $276,100.

For Washington D.C based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $167,300 to $276,100.

For Maryland based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $167,300 to $276,100.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $167,300 to $276,100.

For Hawaii-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $167,300 to $276,100.

For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $167,300 to $276,100.
