As a Strategic Advisor, the Sr. Technical Architect designs and delivers complex, enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions for customers in the Financial Services Industry. This role brings together teams across different stakeholders to realize a strategic vision.
The Sr. Technical Architect supports the full implementation lifecycle, from scoping to deployment, in an evolving
ecosystem consisting of clients and partners. The role is responsible for end-to-end solutioning of enterprise applications, designing and building Salesforce Industry-specific solutions for Financial Services.
You will become a deep product expert with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) applications and work closely with sales and delivery teams to ensure customer success. The role requires maintaining an ongoing, comprehensive understanding of the cloud-computing ecosystem.
This role also involves pre-sales engagement, understanding customer business needs, and designing tailored Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives. Close collaboration with sales teams, clients, and technical delivery teams ensures that solutions are technically sound, deliverable, and aligned with business processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of architects focused on delivering optimized solutions for Financial Services clients using Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and OmniStudio Framework.
- Mentor and guide development teams, fostering best practices in Apex Design Patterns, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and modern UI techniques.
- Play program architect and advisory role, as needed, to drive enterprise-level digital transformation.
- Create integration, data migration, and implementation strategies that improve out-of-the-box product capabilities.
- Design and architect complex enterprise applications, ensuring seamless integration and scalability using Salesforce and other enterprise systems.
- Leverage OmniStudio tools (FlexCards, OmniScripts) for financial services-specific solutions.
- Build sophisticated business processes using native Salesforce Industries technology and integration tools.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, driving architectural vision and establishing a program architectural roadmap.
- Lead functional and technical workshops, demonstrating leadership in designing, delivering, testing, and deploying solutions.
- Guide customers, partners, and implementation teams on digital transformation using Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and Salesforce Industries.
- Lead customer expectations and negotiate solutions to complex challenges with customers and third-party partners.
- Establish technical governance standards, ensuring adherence to best practices in Apex Design Patterns, LWC, and integration security.
- Identify and lead risk areas proactively, seeing issues through to resolution.
Qualifications:
- 14+ years of experience in developing technology solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in client-facing projects in system development and business consulting.
- Expertise in one or more of the following Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Sales/Service/Experience Cloud, and Vlocity OmniStudio.
- Experience with Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Wealth Management, Insurance, and Mortgage/Loan Management domains.
- Integration Architecture to conceptualize end-to-end integration projects with knowledge of authentication mechanisms.
- Experience in REST & SOAP APIs and understanding of Governor Limits in integrations.

- Application & System Architect Certifications (Preferred).
- Strong presentation and communication skills and the ability to develop content for executive-level audiences.
