Department Description:

The Customer Success Group's (CSG) Success Plan product management organization is responsible for managing Salesforce's Customer Success Plan offer portfolio (Standard, Premier, and Signature Success Plans) with which we enable our customers to realize value from their Salesforce technology investments. We work backward from the customer to address their needs across all customer segments (Small Business, Commercial, and Enterprise) and across all Salesforce products. The team is the "voice of the customer and market" to the rest of the CSG organization and we work across all functions within CSG and the Salesforce product organizations to continuously enhance the customer value and experience delivered by the Success Plans offer portfolio.

Role Description:

The Salesforce Success Plans proactively sets up customers to be successful by ensuring that customers have the right skills, information, insights, and access to expertise. We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our Customer Success product management team, with the responsibility to build out the customer expertise pillar.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: Develop a deep understanding of market trends, user needs, and competitive landscape to drive the strategic direction of educational products.
  • Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and user requirements.
  • User-Centric Design: Advocate for user-centered design principles, conducting research, user testing, and feedback analysis to continually enhance product usability and effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across departments, including marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure seamless product integration and go-to-market strategies.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics and user metrics to monitor product performance, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions to optimize product success.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, pedagogical trends, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation in educational products.
  • Project Management: Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products within scope.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree (Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus)
  • Product Management Experience: Proven track record 8-10- years in education services product management roles
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with software development methodologies, UX/UI principles, and agile project management practices.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable product enhancements.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, with demonstrated experience working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for Education: Genuine passion for education and a commitment to driving positive impact through innovative learning solutions.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $150,300 to $206,700.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
