We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Manager, Physical Security to lead and mentor a team of security professionals across Northern Europe, including London, Dublin, Germany, and the Nordics. This office-based role reports to the Senior Director of Physical Security.
You will build and implement a comprehensive physical security program to ensure the safety of our people, assets, and operations.
This role requires occasional travel within the region to support security operations, events, and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management:
• Lead and mentor a diverse team of security professionals.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Strategic Security Operations:
• Build positive relationships with internal partners, including Real Estate & Workplace Services, Health & Safety, Resilience, Executive Leadership, and regional/site leadership.
• Ensure operations meet global security standards and enforce compliance.
• Oversee security objectives and ensure effective execution.
• Manage security for events of all sizes.
Risk Mitigation & Crisis Response:
• Act as the Subject Matter (SME) for physical security operations within the assigned Area of Responsibility (AoR).
• Lead all aspects of access control, guard force staffing, and risk management policies.
• Lead emergency response initiatives and execute crisis management plans.
• Conduct tabletop exercises, live drills, and training sessions for security teams and stakeholders.
Incident Management & Investigations:
• Maintain positive relationships with law enforcement agencies.
• Gather intelligence to mitigate workplace violence and other security risks.
• Investigate security incidents and provide comprehensive reports.
Budget & Vendor Management:
• Manage the regional security budget, contracts, and vendor relationships.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews, capture key metrics, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Culture & Values:
• Build a safe and secure environment where employees feel protected and supported.
• Champion collaboration and get results through partnership and strategic execution.
• Champion Salesforce values.
Qualifications & Experience
• 10+ years of experience in security operations or a related field.
• Proven experience in leading security teams with a focus on operations, training, and budgeting.
• Strong ability to communicate and lead effectively during fast paced situations.
• Outstanding skills in presentation, writing, research, and analysis.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and its business solutions (preferred).
• Proficiency in English (required).
• Willingness to expand expertise into areas beyond security operations, including:
• Risk Intelligence & Threat Monitoring
• Investigations & Incident Response
• Executive Protection
• Security Systems & Technology
• Project Management
• Experience in a fast-paced corporate environment is highly desirable. This is an on-site role.
Candidates must be available to work in the office as required and be willing to travel within the region as needed.
