We are looking for an innovative experienced product leader with a track record for driving GTM capabilities for new and established products from concept to successful delivery and market leadership. This role will report to the head of Commerce Cloud Commerce GTM Solutions, will work closely with product leadership, and will be responsible for guiding sales strategy, field enablement, driving strategic deals, partnering with GSIs, and bringing insights from the field back into the Product organization.

The role is highly cross-functional and requires a candidate that enjoys navigating ambiguity, working in a fast-paced startup like environment, aligning exec stakeholders, collaborating with teams across time-zones and thinking globally. This leader is responsible for ACV and pipeline growth, working in strong collaboration with Industry Solution and Strategy team, sales, sales enablement, alliances, marketing and other products teams. This individual is expected to work with senior level customer partners to drive adoption.

Responsibilities:

Be a domain expert for specific parts of our Commerce Cloud portfolio (defined by your manager)

You are seen as an authority in your areas of the portfolio and specifically in their application to our customers' needs

You can present at the most senior-level customer meetings and can easily cover for the SVP of those areas when they are unavailable

Responsible for supporting the following key aspects of the Commerce Cloud GTM motions:

Participating in strategic customer acquisition

Working with our key partners

Bringing together international needs from Distribution and Customers

Regular evaluation of our pricing & packaging and bundles for buyer and seller optimization

Execute a scalable approach to strategic customer meeting requests in your areas, both leading these meetings directly and building an approach to scale how we can bring the right talent to the right meetings.

This is done in alignment with the overall program built by the VP of GTM Solutions

Customer engagement

Engage directly with customers during pre-sales and post-sales implementations to drive sales and enablement and ensure the product will help them reach their desired business outcomes.

Present product and roadmap to customer executives in our world-class Salesforce Innovation Center

Drive Product Advisory Councils in key regions globally

Evangelize our roadmap with our customers, partners and employees

Leverage market analysis, driven knowledge, and customer research to define communication, enablement, and messaging

Synthesize the needs across Industries to build common components that can act as multiplier across different Industries. Engage with selected key customers, understand their problems and synthesize findings to inform product strategy and requirements (working with R&I) within your portfolio areas Work collaboratively across Product, Sales and Service teams to amplify the value of Commerce Cloud to our customers. Develop relationships with relevant Product Managers to ensure a good flow of product information to the field and back to PMs with voice of customer. Represent the your areas of the portfolio with key industry analysts like Gartner, IDC, and more to achieve our stated analyst goals from our V2MOM Continuous Learning

A thirst for leaning in all facets of the job; be it new technology, diving deep into industry concepts, new ways of working or the suite of salesforce products

Qualifications:

  • Extreme sense of ownership - own the problem, the process, and the outcome. Some things may need "driving by influence", others may need executing yourself in a hands-on manner, and yet others will need delegation.
  • High energy and passion for the job
  • Experience in marketing technology products
  • Equivalent of 7+ years of product management or similar experience.
  • Experience leading and working with teams internationally
  • Experience with driving strategic Sales engagements
  • Deep domain knowledge of customer engagement processes in B2C and B2B commerce
  • Experience in working in fast-paced startup environments
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in high-level business discussions.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines or equivalent experience in technical leadership roles
  • Ability to lead with Salesforce values and culture
  • Execute with grace under pressure and sense of humor and camaraderie
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills that span across various cultures and professional backgrounds
