The Head of Marketing - France, leads the country marketing team and is responsible for the marketing strategy, planning, coordination and delivery of all marketing programs, campaigns and activities into and for the country and the delivery of marketing KPIs for the country.

You will be expected to have significant experience in marketing, with a strong focus on field marketing, be a dynamic people leader and have proven ability to thrive in a matrix, multi-stakeholder environment. You will be instrumental in evolving our go to market strategy and ensuring the successful business performance of the country.

Leading and mentoring a team of marketers, you will work closely and collaboratively with the rest of the EMEA / Global marketing teams, with sales leadership, their teams and other stakeholders to deliver your goals. Alignment with the Operating Unit leadership in France will be instrumental in driving success in this role, ensuring maximum customer centricity.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of Salesforce marketing for France, including the execution of the Salesforce go-to-market strategy, coordinating all elements of an integrated, regional marketing program, including brand awareness, solution and industry campaigns, events, hospitality programs, content, and digital marketing
  • The Head of Marketing partners with the France Leadership team to strategically define and implement the country's marketing plan. They collaborate closely including the sales leadership teams to elevate pipeline visibility and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and evolve this comprehensive marketing plan for the country also in conjunction with local Public Relations, Government Affairs, international stakeholders from marketing, and product leadership. Ensure the optimal management of marketing budget, focusing on careful prioritisation of efforts.
  • Develop and execute customer-driven, prioritised campaigns to increase customer demand, sales, and positively impact Salesforce brand awareness and momentum.
  • Maintain and grow a strong marketing team culture and morale. Develop your team through a deliberate approach to career and performance management. Emphasis on diversity and inclusion.
  • Create compelling and differentiated messaging by industry, thread that messaging through all marketing tactics, and develop audience-specific content from the top to the bottom of the funnel.
  • Align and integrate efforts across multiple teams to encourage and empower an army of Trailblazer customers to evangelise Salesforce.
  • Innovate to deliver the right portfolio of physical and virtual events to drive maximum impact across our region.
  • Develop a data-driven digital strategy that intelligently drives our pipeline, revenue and Trailblazer goals.
  • Drive product and solution initiatives and new product introductions into the region, setting and measuring performance against objectives.
  • Represent Salesforce at international and corporate levels; keep International and local management up to date and involved in marketing plans and performance.
  • Act as a spokesperson at Salesforce, industry events and with media industry analysts, partners, customers, and other key audiences for company positioning and messaging.
  • Be an active and engaged member of the EMEA Marketing Leadership Team supporting the leader of this team to deliver their goals and objectives, while being an instrumental team member in the Local leadership team, part of its Executive Committee

  • Great Communicator - Able to understand and translate messages to make them appropriate for your audience. Talk and present to Sr. Leadership, Sales, Marketing.
