We're seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to work with our Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) partners to continuously explore areas of process improvement. The Senior Business Analyst will be the main point of contact for a specific real estate function and own the relationship. They will also be responsible for supervising the work of other business analysts on the team. The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for the definition and documentation of sophisticated business processes across global cross-functional teams to ensure alignment as well as documentation of non-standard processes for specific local requirements. The Senior Business Analyst will also drive the collection and prioritization of requests, gather detailed requirements and engage in data analysis as needed. Once business processes are clearly defined, well understood and documented, the Senior Business Analyst will collaborate with our internal IT team and 3rd party service providers to deliver technology to support business needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage team member relationship by listening intently, understanding needs and expectations and communicating effectively
- Assign and supervise work to be performed by Business Analysts to ensure quality and completeness of deliverables
- Research, evaluate, recommend and implement high quality business process improvements.
- Defines business requirements, creates practical specifications and performs fit/gap analysis.
- Conduct change enablement for technology initiatives.
- Assess risks and impacts of business requirements and process changes.
- Accurately and effectively communicate stakeholder needs to bridge the gap between business areas.
- Understand and interpret the diverse issues and requirements of team members which may sometimes conflict and facilitate/negotiate to design solutions that meet overall business needs.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from various sources, reconcile conflicts, convert high-level information into detailed user stories, convert technical information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
- Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, and other business analysis techniques.
- Facilitate and implement solutions with internal technical support teams or third party vendors as appropriate.
- Manage and drive user acceptance testing, including writing test scripts for the implemented solution, work with technical teams to resolve bugs and record feedback to start eliciting requirements for the next iteration of the project, if needed.
- Act as a thought leader in identifying root causes of process inefficiencies and identify systems and tools to find creative and collaborative solutions.
- Leverage Salesforce platform capabilities to meet the needs of the business by analyzing and understanding the capabilities of the enterprise platforms that can be used to support processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in related fields, or equivalent work experience. Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the Values & Behaviors for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.).
- 3-5+ years of business analyst experience
- 3-5+ years rolling out change enablement for technology across large organizations.
- 2+ years of Salesforce experience
- Advanced in Google Suite or MS Excel, PowerPoint
- Skilled in Visio or LucidChart (or similar tool)
- Leadership skills to guide the business throughout a project and have confidence in the right solutions.
- Communication skills to work with team members at all levels of the business, gather requirements, and supervise projects from beginning to end.
- Project management skills to keep Salesforce projects on track and moving toward the end business goal.
- Proven track record of delivery in a fast paced environment and the ability to make quick, actionable recommendations based on data findings.
- Data-driven: Tracks and evaluates data to deliver insights back to the business.
- Solution-Focused: Takes project requirements and creates the best solution for the organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of Real Estate processes and data
- Experience with Salesforce products (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.)
- Project Management or Business Analyst Certification
This role is hybrid and goes into the office 3 days per week.

For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $101,900 to $140,200.
