The Sales Strategy and Operations team is a high-performance team chartered with assisting senior executives in driving the business forward. The team is responsible for (i) Partnering with senior sales leadership to drive and track the business under a rigorous data-driven approach, interpreting KPIs and providing executive recommendations ; (ii) Owning the business operational model and cadence, (iii) Planning for our future growth including both G4G and longer term cross functional strategic initiatives

Our Sales Strategy Analyst will play a critical role in the success of the team and become the key pool of talent to nurture, grow and develop into more senior roles within the organization. The successful candidates will assist our sales leaders and managers in weekly activities and projects including business planning, sales governance, pipeline analysis, sales coverage optimization, ongoing sales performance measurement, etc. Deliverables range from robust analytic models, custom performance analysis and the packaging of findings into presentation-ready content for Salesforce executives.
About You:
The ideal candidate is motivated, curious and with a get-it-done attitude. He has a passion for creating innovative analysis, the ability to develop findings and recommendations that transcend the numbers as well as the energy to contribute to projects impacting and transforming the business.
The ideal candidates has interned in a sales strategy & operations environment, management consultancy, high growth technology companies, or in a comparable environment that requires business acumen combined with analytical skills and strong work ethic, and will want to learn and grow in a fast-pace environment.
While working in the Sales Strategy & Operations department at Salesforce, the candidate will better learn how to:
- Support our business units with ongoing data analysis and recommendations to structure and solve complex business problems
- Drive improvements in our sales process and coverage model through scalable analytics
- Work cross-functionally to establish reporting and process standards
- Assist in developing and delivering presentations for senior executives and inform decisions on a daily basis
- Communicate effectively with all audiences, in a structured manner
- Assist the business through each stage of the fiscal year planning cycle
- Take part in key strategic initiatives to transform and shape the business for delivering growth
Minimum desired qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree, preferably in an analytical discipline such as engineering, science, economics, computer science etc (or equivalent)
- 2+ Years of previous experience in finance, management consultancy or high growth technology companies
- Strong data analysis and logical reasoning skills with experience analysing complex datasets using Excel, Google sheets, Tableau or SQL (or equivalents)
- Ability to balance priorities and work productively in a fast paced environment
- Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations
- Solid self-starter behaviour: Curious, innovative, problem solving, autonomous and with a get-it-done attitude
- Fluent in English and French
