Sales Programs is an operational function at Salesforce that works directly with our Sales Teams to ensure they are always targeting the right areas to sell in to.We help to bridge the gap between Sales and Data Science by guiding our Sales Teams to sell smarter and more effectively, using data as a basis for all our decisions. We use our expertise and Business Intelligence tools to ensure our different Products and Regions are always reaching their full potential.
On our team, you would have an opportunity to see first-hand how a Sales Organization in a Fortune 500 company operates. You will learn the Salesforce Platform, help to expand our Reporting and Dashboard infrastructure, offer Insights to Sales Program teams on how to improve their Business through our centralised resources.
You will be a trusted partner to your aligned Sales Programs team. This role requires both Communication and Technical skills, being able to translate data into information for Sales Programs consumption. You will gain exposure to both the operational and technical side of Salesforce in this role, giving you an outstanding and diverse experience in the company.
The successful candidate will possess a passion for creating innovative analysis, the ability to develop findings and recommendations that transcend the numbers as well as the energy to contribute to projects impacting and transforming the business.
πΉ What You'll Do
- Coordinate and Facilitate Quarterly Sales Program Planning
- Participate in Defining Sales Plays/Programs for Quarterly Plays
- Build Sales Programs Reports & Dashboards
- Build Sales Target Lists and Data Uploads
- Activity & Campaign Creation and Data Updates
- Analyse and Communicate Program Tracking and Results
- Provide Monetisation & Data Science Programs support
Quarterly Sales programs reviews - Support our business units with ongoing analysis and recommendations
- Drive improvements in our sales process and coverage model through scalable analytics
- Work cross-functionally to establish reporting standards
- Assist in developing and delivering presentations for senior executives and inform decisions on a daily basis
- Interact regularly with different functions including Sales, Marketing, Finance and IT
π Who We're Looking For (Minimum Requirements)
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a Milan based University (Graduation: 2026)
- Eligible to sign a University Agreement for the full internship duration
- Fluent in Italian & English (oral and written)
- Driven by data and fuelled by a profound passion for numbers and analysis
- Solid self-starter: Curious, innovative, problem solving & autonomous
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel required, Salesforce.com experience an advantage.
- Self-motivated, organised, detail-oriented, and resourceful.
βPreferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master Degree, preferably in an analytical discipline such as engineering, science, economics, computer science, big data, mathematics etc.
- Experience in a similar field is preferable
- Strong data analysis and logical reasoning skills with experience analysing complex datasets using Excel, Google sheets, Tableau or SQL
- Ability to balance priorities and work productively in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to network across the company and to build/manage cross-functional virtual teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and quantitative approach to solving problems.
Professional with strong planning and analytic skills. Project management expertise an advantage.
Strong organizational ability, experience in planning and managing a systematic approach to demand generation through sales teams.
