Job Description

As a MuleSoft Regional Vice President you will be responsible for setting and implementing the MuleSoft and Salesforce mutual Go-to-market sales strategy for the MuleSoft product family. You will lead, build and grow a sales organization for this product family in the Small & Midsize Business segment. In this 2nd-line leadership role, you will plan and manage at both the strategic and operational level and assume responsibility for the product family Annual Contract Revenue (ACV) target in your region.

Your Impact
The teams you lead here at MuleSoft will directly impact the growth of our overall organization and support the broader Go-to-market strategy of MuleSoft AMER. You will be masterful in client and internal collaborator engagement and impact how your customers do business in a constantly evolving environment. You will mentor your Leadership team, and in turn their direct reports, to develop in their careers and inspire your team to do the best work of their life.

  • Lead, drive and grow sales for your vertical segment across North America.
  • Lead your Front Line Leaders and Account Executives to drive complex deal transactions
  • Set and execute a customer acquisition strategy to generate growth in revenue and bookings
  • Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company's vertical focus and customer base
  • Work closely with functions and other executives across the organization to establish and develop a strong and collaborative partnership to ensure continued success
  • Thrive in challenging and unprecedented times; anticipate market changes and act on them quickly
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
  • Manage the overall sales process, set appropriate metrics for sales funnel management
  • Plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels

Your Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in Sales Leadership
  • 10+ years in software and/or applications sales; ideally an IT centric solution/application software, selling primarily to the CxO level (ideally CIO)
  • Recent experience with the SMB or Mid-Market customer segment
  • Strong track record of success in leading complex top account teams within a high-growth, matrixed environment. Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals.
  • Strong track record of recruiting, developing, coaching and retaining a high performing sales organization
  • Strong cross-functional partnership skills to drive collaboration across multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent presentation and executive engagement skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills

For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $215,500 to $288,250.
