Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Prompt Designer / Engineer to join our Digital Customer Success team. This pivotal role focuses on designing and implementing cutting-edge prompt templates and conversational experiences for our release of Agentforce. As a key leader in our organization, you will leverage your expertise in conversation design, user experience, and generative AI to deliver human-centric, transformative solutions for our customers. This role uniquely blends strategic leadership, hands-on design expertise, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to craft innovative experiences powered by AI and autonomous agents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Innovation
  • Create prompt templates and conversational AI experiences for diverse use cases, such as issue resolution, customer onboarding, and learning.
  • Develop multimodal interaction designs incorporating text, voice, visual, and sensory inputs to craft rich, human-like user experiences.
  • Design conversational flows for autonomous agents capable of completing complex tasks (e.g., lead qualification, customer support, order processing) independently or semi-independently.
  • Collaboration and Leadership
  • Partner with product managers, UX designers, AI developers, and researchers to align AI interaction models with business objectives.
  • Advocate for generative AI's transformative potential across internal and external stakeholders, influencing product strategy and execution.
  • Optimization and Iteration
  • Continuously refine prompt templates using data-driven insights, A/B testing, and user feedback to enhance performance and user satisfaction.
  • Establish best practices, guidelines, and documentation to standardize conversational design processes across teams.
  • Personalization and Accessibility
  • Tailor AI interactions to reflect tone, style, and cultural nuances across customer segments and industries.
  • Champion accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring AI designs meet diverse user needs and industry standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in conversation design, UX writing, or related fields, with a strong portfolio of AI-driven projects is a must.
  • Proven ability to design scalable conversation flows, user journeys, and AI prompt templates.
  • Expertise in multimodal interaction design and generative AI technologies (e.g., GPT or similar models).
  • Technical and Analytical Skills
  • Strong understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and AI applications across industries such as sales, service, and commerce.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and leverage performance metrics for optimization.
  • Collaboration and Communication
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into actionable strategies, bridging technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Designing for generative AI systems with dynamic, context-aware interactions.
  • Building autonomous agent systems that enhance workflows and user experiences.
  • Applying behavioral psychology principles to drive user engagement.
  • Incorporating accessibility standards into conversational and multimodal AI designs.
  • Familiarity with enterprise SaaS platforms and industry-specific jargon.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $230,700 to $351,800.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
