Program / Project Management Manager (Individual contributor) is responsible for driving strategy and performance for the Sales organization and lead the "Sales Programs" within Sales Strategy function to create scalable sales plays and improve productivity, and closely align with sales leadership, sales management, sales enablement & programs, performance & analytics, and marketing functions.
You will be expected to analyze performance and propose both short and longer-term business strategy and process to improve their performance and also develop and refine sales programs and processes to better enhance and monitor the performance of the business, particularly in accordance with the published strategic sales priorities.
As a Program / Project Management Manager working closely with sales leaders, you are always seeking growth and productivity improvements whilst being the regional point of coordination for our Global Functions.
A successful candidate will need to possess:
Skills in hypothesizing, analyzing, and making meaningful recommendations
Deep understanding of sales organization and sales activities, and can materialize innovative ideas to enhance sales into practical and actionable programs and schemes
Strategic thinking to maneuver big data to generate such ideas and programs
Operational excellence in executing programs among a wide range of supporting functions (internal and external to Salesforce).
Knowledge and expertise in the latest sales and marketing techniques (theoretical and technical) will help building innovative programs.
Level comfortability toward the required speed, agility, and multi-tasking among moving priorities.
What you'll be doing:
Develop strategies and frameworks based on analysis result to enhance activity at Salesforce Commercial sales team.
Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to drive sales activities.
Manage and execute programs in collaboration with stakeholders within Salesforce.
Assist and collaborate with Japan and Global executives in decision-making, program design and development, project management, and initiative implementation.
Review, design, and execute improvements to the Partner organization structure.
Who you are:
- Experience managing critical sales and partner processes for a business of comparable scope and scale, including pipeline management, account planning, forecasting, and partner programs.
- Creativity and practicality in developing actionable recommendations and programs.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using tools like Tableau preferred.
- Expertise in Excel, with programming experience being a plus.
- Strong stakeholder skills, with the ability to present ideas to executive audiences and manage upwards effectively.
- Advanced time management skills, including experience planning and leading strategic initiatives and program management.
- Degree from university, preferably in an analytical discipline such as engineering, computer science, economics, etc. Or 5+ years of equivalent working experience.
- 5+ years of work experience in sales and marketing or project management, or new business development is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative start-up environment.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries and direct multiple teams and departments.
- Fluency in English is plus
About Sales Strategy:
A team comprised largely of ex-management consultants acts as the company's internal consulting arm for the sales organization. The team is responsible for identifying and reporting on key indicators of sales performance and market opportunity, using those findings to set the strategic agenda for the sales group, and presenting recommendations to senior leaders. Projects will include business planning, market segmentation, and coverage optimization, and ongoing performance measurement. Deliverables range from robust analytic models, custom performance analysis, scalable reporting infrastructure, and the packaging of findings into presentation-ready content for salesforce.com executive
