Role Overview
As a Principal Product Designer on Salesforce's Agentforce UX Platform team, you will drive the vision, strategy, and execution for AI-powered agent creation and management experiences. This senior individual contributor (IC) role is for a design leader, problem solver, and systems thinker who thrives in complexity, collaborates across teams, and shapes the future of AI-powered enterprise workflows.
You will lead cross-functional design initiatives that define how businesses build, deploy, and manage AI agents, ensuring the experience is intuitive, scalable, and human-centered. As an influential voice in AI and enterprise UX, you will mentor designers, drive best practices, and champion innovation that aligns with Salesforce's broader AI and platform strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Vision & Strategy: Set design strategy for AI agent workflows, ensuring alignment with Salesforce's AI platform.
- Cross-Team Initiatives: Lead large-scale design efforts, partnering with product, engineering, and AI teams.
- AI & Human Collaboration: Define design paradigms balancing automation with human oversight.
- Mentorship & Influence: Mentor designers and influence UX decisions across Salesforce.
- Prototyping: Build high-fidelity prototypes and iterate on AI-driven experiences.

Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years in UX/Product Design with a focus on enterprise software and AI-driven platforms.
- Proven leadership in design strategy and execution for complex initiatives.
- Strong portfolio showcasing AI-powered workflows and enterprise platforms.
- Expertise in user-centered design, systems thinking, and workflow design.
- Prototyping skills in Figma, Framer, or front-end code.
- Deep understanding of AI usability and ethical AI design.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with developer tools, automation platforms, or AI-powered applications.
- Knowledge of data visualization and workflow automation.
- Background in HCI, cognitive science, or AI interaction design.
- Experience mentoring senior designers.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $230,800 to $334,600.
For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $211,500 to $306,600.
For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $230,800 to $334,600.
For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $211,500 to $306,600.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
