The Platform and Agent AE drives the 360 growth and success of one of Salesforce's most strategic customers through the following competencies:

Strategic Planning & Execution:

Contributes to and executes a comprehensive strategic global account plan

Provides a vision for driving multi-year growth with a focus on Data Cloud, Einstein 1, Mule, Slack & Platform penetration & adoption

Revenue Growth:

Consistently delivers high-quality ACV, AOV, and pipeline

Protects against attrition and delivers outcomes-based value

Customer Relationship & Trust:

Demonstrates a deep understanding of customer's tech stack and how to drive CIO strategic impact - you are the CIO's go-to trusted advisor

Drives customer technology efficiency and economic results by making Salesforce the solution of choice

Shows a deep understanding of post-sales implementation requirements and success milestones

Product & Industry Expertise:

Possesses a deep understanding of the Salesforce product portfolio including features, benefits, use cases, and value proposition

Demonstrates command of industry trends, technologies, market dynamics, and competitor activities

Team Collaboration & Development:

Understands and shares our solutions and value proposition. Brings team along - helps them level up

Demonstrates expertise and collaboration across product lines

Cross-Functional Influence:

Forges and maintains a deep partnership with Product

Collaborates with internal cross-functional teams, including ELT, Sales, Services, Success, Product, Alliances & Channels, Strategic Partnerships, and Marketing to ensure customer and program success

Company Steward:

Possesses a long-term perspective and short-term execution mindset

Steps out of defined responsibilities to help the company. Regularly report holistic product and account strategies, insights, and progress to Salesforce executives

Risk Management & Attrition Mitigation:

Identifies potential account risks and challenges and develops proactive mitigation strategies to ensure customer satisfaction and retention

Operational Excellence

Provides accurate revenue forecasts and contributes to the company's margin and revenue goals. Ideal candidates will have experience with consumption selling.

Drive operational excellence by breaking down barriers and optimizing processes, workflows, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and effectiveness

Ruthlessly prioritizes - spends time where ROI is highest

Executive Presence & Relationships:

Builds and brokers trusted senior executive-level customer & internal relationships

Surfaces executive-level account, product, customer and program trends and observations
