As Named Account Executive for the UK Healthcare sector you'll engage with existing customers and new leads to sell the entire Salesforce Customer 360 platform. You'll build positive, trusted relationships with both key team members and c-suite decision makers within your patch, and become natural at helping customers realize value from their Salesforce investments.
You will use your skills to develop opportunities, through both warm leads and whitespace prospecting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories or sectors.
- Build a robust pipeline of prospects through various methods such as cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to reach or exceed assigned targets.
- Tailor sales approaches based on customer needs and market conditions.
- Engage with potential clients to understand their business challenges and propose tailored solutions.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers to secure new contracts.
- Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing.
- Overcome objections and adapt strategies to secure deals.
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g., marketing, pre-sales, technical, and product teams) to ensure alignment on sales objectives and product offerings.
- Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to improve offerings and customer experience.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
- Research and identify potential propositions and emerging trends that could drive business growth.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in enterprise-level sales, ideally with land and expand opportunities
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes and compliance standards (e.g., NHS frameworks, government procurement frameworks, etc.).
- Experience selling to organisations like NHS trusts, local authorities, government agencies, and healthcare providers.
- Exceptional consultative sales skills with the ability to map customer needs to product capabilities.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with an ability to influence C-suite stakeholders.
- Ability to lead complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers and procurement stakeholders.
