Key Responsibilities:

New Business Acquisition:

* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories or sectors.
* Build a robust pipeline of prospects through various methods such as cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.

Sales Strategy Development:

* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to reach or exceed assigned targets.
* Tailor sales approaches based on customer needs and market conditions.

Client Relationship Management:

* Engage with potential clients to understand their business challenges and propose tailored solutions.
* Build strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers to secure new contracts.

Deal Closing:

* Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing.
* Overcome objections and adapt strategies to secure deals.

Collaboration:

* Work closely with internal teams (e.g., marketing, pre-sales, technical, and product teams) to ensure alignment on sales objectives and product offerings.
* Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to improve offerings and customer experience.

Market Knowledge and Research:

* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
* Research and identify potential propositions and emerging trends that could drive business growth.

Key Skills:

Prospecting and Lead Generation: Strong ability to identify potential new customers.
Negotiation and Closing Skills: Ability to lead negotiations to win high-value deals.
Sales Strategy Development: Capable of creating and executing effective sales strategies.
Communication and Presentation: Clear and persuasive communication with stakeholders at all levels.
Resilience and Drive: Determined to achieve and exceed sales targets, handling rejection professionally.
CRM Management: Familiarity with CRM tools (such as Salesforce) for managing pipelines and tracking progress.
Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of the target market and its pain points, often gained through previous sales experience in similar sectors.

Desired Experience:

Proven track record in sales, especially in a hunter role.
Experience in a fast-paced, results-driven sales environment.
Background in the industry of focus (e.g., technology, healthcare, SaaS)

Success Metrics:

Meeting or exceeding sales quotas and new customer acquisition targets.
Growth in market share through new client acquisition.
Strong pipeline and conversion rate from leads to closed deals.

This role suits individuals who are self-motivated, persistent, and thrive in competitive environments.

Qualifications:

Proven track record of success in enterprise-level sales, ideally with land and expand opportunities
Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes and compliance standards (e.g., NHS frameworks, government procurement frameworks, etc.).
Experience selling to organisations like NHS trusts, local authorities, government agencies, and healthcare providers.
Exceptional consultative sales skills with the ability to map customer needs to product capabilities.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with an ability to influence C-suite stakeholders.
Ability to manage complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers and procurement stakeholders.

Healthcare/Public Sector Expertise: Deep knowledge of the unique challenges and regulatory requirements in these sectors.
Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with high-level executives.
Results-Driven: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and grow revenue streams.
Strategic Thinker: Ability to identify long-term opportunities and develop strategies for sustained business growth.
Self-Starter: Independent, motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
