We are seeking a high-performing Senior Account Executive to accelerate the adoption of all Salesforce solutions within the public sector in Switzerland and Austria, driving sales growth and building lasting relationships with government customers, agencies and public organisations in for instance Healthcare, Logistics and Transportation. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in the public sector to lead all aspects of the sales process-from strategic account planning and lead qualification to negotiation and closing-while developing long-term partnerships with key stakeholders.

It is critical that you can demonstrate that you can work in a cross functional selling team and team-sales environment, whilst also being responsible for managing your own territory.

Your responsibilities:

  • Creating and implementing effective territory and account plans for your region and customer base
  • Developing a deep understanding of Government and Public Sector customers
  • Positioning Salesforce's unique capabilities to address the specific needs of public entities and help organisations change and innovate faster
  • Meeting and exceeding sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales
  • Co-selling effectively with Salesforce Cloud Sales Executives and other cross-functional teams to maximise impact
  • Nurturing and expanding relationships with public sector accounts by building trust and deeply understanding their unique challenges
  • Effectively communicating with leadership, customers, partners, and extended teams to ensure alignment with public sector needs.
  • Participating in team-building and company-growth activities, such as strategic planning, sales training, customer marketing efforts, and volunteering.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years Consultative selling experience
  • Likes to build new business, entrepreneurial spirit and grow existing business
  • Fluency in German or French and English
  • A results-driven mindset, with a passion for achieving goals.
  • Capability and enthusiasm to identify customer needs and delivering effective solutions.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A deep interest in customer satisfaction and building lasting relationships.
