Named Account Executive - Communications, Media & Telco
Due to continued success within our Communications, Media, and Telco (CMT) team, we are looking for an additional Enterprise Account Executive to join our team, focusing on working with top organizatios across the Communications, Media, and Telco sectors.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Salesforce commercial efforts and account strategies within a defined territory of both existing Salesforce clients and greenfield prospects in the CMT space.
You will leverage the full Salesforce Customer 360 portfolio, driving growth with industry-leading Cloud solutions, including Salesforce's Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and other products. Salesforce has a broad and growing presence in the CMT industry, and you will play a pivotal role in driving adoption and transformation within this dynamic sector.
The successful candidate will lead relationships with key accounts in the CMT sector within your territory, coordinating sales efforts across various Salesforce teams, including Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Tableau, MuleSoft, and Professional Services.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a Territory Plan for the UKI CMT defined patch, driving pipeline generation and ultimately sales growth.
- Cultivate and manage key customer stakeholder relationships across senior levels-IT, Business, and Executive Leadership-within accounts in your patch.
- Design and drive the long-term strategic vision for your territory, aligning with customer business objectives in the CMT sector.
- Demonstrate proven time management and prioritization skills in a fast-paced, dynamic sales environment.
- Lead the full sales cycle, engaging the right resources including Business Development, Sales Engineers, Professional Services, Executives, and Partners, to close deals.
- Promote and embody Salesforce's value proposition to the market, focusing on how Salesforce solutions can transform CMT organizations.
- Collaborate with and integrate into an existing and successful CMT sales team, leveraging collective expertise to drive customer success and growth.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Knowledge and experience of selling within the Communications, Media, and Telco sectors is highly advantageous.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in selling SaaS solutions, particularly in enterprise sales roles.
- Proven success in selling to C-suite executives, with a strong ability to engage both IT and business stakeholders.
- Strong track record of accurate sales forecasting and revenue achievement.
- Demonstrated success in generating net new business and closing high-value deals.
- Consistently overachieved on quota and revenue goals.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% across the UKI to meet prospects and clients, with a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
- Location flexibility is key; travel to the London office as required.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative team player, and confident in presenting to clients on-site.
