THE ROLE
In this role you will report to the Global Strategy and Operations, Sr. Director and be at the forefront of driving PE sales programs, using data and analytics to prioritize impactful initiatives, and support sales and operational excellence on the globadistributed teamyour role, you will support operationalizing the PE go-to-market strategy, lead and support a series of strategic projects, support the execution of the team's operating rhythm (including team forecasting processes), bring a data-driven view of performance, implement our annual planning cycle (Go for Growth) and partner with regional teams to integrate with their regional go-to-market strategies. RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver PE Sales Programs: in collaboration with top Operating Units (OUs), design and deliver targeted PE programs to educate AEs on PE industry and priorities, and boost AE productivity across PE-backed opportunities
Drive OU Engagement: Deliver on the strategy to engage with PE top OUs including Slack community communications, sales leadership presentations, and analytics by OU
Drive Forecast Excellence: Lead forecast management processes to ensure sustained, predictable growth, including coordinating weekly forecast calls and tracking pipeline performance. Conduct Advanced Analytics: Perform ad-hoc deep-dive analyses on customer segmentation, sales trends, whitespace opportunities, and other critical business drivers.
Drive Sales Operations Excellence: Support operational and commercial excellence agenda across the team; acting as a go-to person for data-driven insights, reporting standard methodology and efficiency; work closely with Product and AI SWAT Team to develop and maintain scalable sales and business processes; leverage data-driven insights to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement.
Enable Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with key teams to improve operational processes, troubleshoot business challenges, and drive scalable solutions.
Salesforce Network: Build your network of internal experts who can be drawn upon to bring the best to our PE partners (e.g. product, marketing, alliances and channels, strategy, finance)
Thought Partner: Act as a thought partner to the Strategy, Programs & Portfolio Performance lead, our leadership team and the Global Head of Private Equity Practice
Strategic Initiatives: Lead and support a range of strategic projects that are critical to the success of the team
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Problem-solving: Ability to structure complex problems, diagnose issues, originate new solutions and make recommendations
Confidence with data: a demonstrable ability to grapple with data, break it down into analysis, synthesise into insights and make recommendations
Excellent communication skills: Ability to translate analysis into easily digestible messages and make succinct executive presentations (verbal/ written) for senior leaders
Flexibility and sense of urgency: Ability to adjust on the fly to new demands and resilience in an environment of ambiguity
Autonomy and drive: Self-motivated with a highly collaborative style, strong influencing skills, and drive to work in a rapidly changing growth environment
Partner management: A highly collaborative style with clear evidence of building positive relationships across a diverse set of partners
Program and project management: strong program and project management skills with the ability to implement across a broad range of contributors including strategy, sales programs, and analytics
An independent self-starter with good work ethic and personal drive and character qualities that match with our company's core values and inspire others to follow and act
High proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint and Google Slides and a basic understanding of multidimensional databases required; prior experience with SQL, Business Objects, Tableau, or Tableau CRM (Einstein Analytics) a plus
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
Proven experience in top tier consulting firm background, ideally with exposure PE, M&A, strategy or digital transformation or similar industry role (e.g. Sales Strategy, Strategy & Operations, Business Strategy role)
Sophisticated analytics experience such as SQL and Tableau
Experience working in cross-functional teams on large-scale technology initiatives.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
BA/BS in business, finance, economics, math, engineering, marketing, or related areas, preferred; MBA is a plus
Experience in dealing with complex governance models (Private Equity, portfolio companies, external customers)
