Role Description:
At Heroku, our Product Marketers craft inspirational stories and product demos to people around the world. We develop product messaging and positioning, campaigns, go-to-market programs, sales plays, events, and sales enablement. Our success is defined by our ability to deliver relevant content that creates interest, sales pipeline, and ultimately, new customers.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a self-starting, team-orientated, and passionate Product Marketing Senior Lead to join our team focused on cloud application platforms. You will join a team of product marketers responsible for translating the needs of customers and sellers across marketing, sales enablement, product, and field teams. You will drive a wide variety of initiatives that support pipeline generation and help drive deals to close. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the customer, learning, and creativity.
- Messaging and positioning for Heroku products, use cases, and customer personas include IT decision makers and developers.
- Product Launches: Work closely with product teams to drive milestone product launch moments that garner industry attention and shape the market perception of Heroku
- Content: Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy for your product and use case area to support demand gen and sales activities including presentations, white papers, webinars, blog posts, and case studies.
- Digital Marketing: Partner with the demand and growth marketing team to deliver engaging content that advances the customer along the buyer's journey
- Sales GTM Programs: Create and drive sales programs and plays to generate new pipeline and close revenue into white space segments and cross selling into Salesforce install base.
- Sales Enablement: Create and deliver content to enable direct and partner sales teams on the Heroku product, use cases, and campaigns.
- Events & Conferences: Organize and participate in industry events, conferences, and webinars with the events team; deliver presentations at customer facing events.
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in product marketing, sales, or go-to-market background
- Proven experience in technology marketing with experience in cloud, Kubernetes/containers, and developer tools
- Excellent communication interpersonal skills
- Expertise in creating strong working relationships with cross-functional teams and align with global stakeholders
- Ability to create a range of marketing assets including on-message product demo videos, presentations, product data sheets, blogs
- Ability to use data and analytics to drive decision-making as well as a consistent track record of setting and delivering against measurable marketing metrics.
- Ability to strategize and craft compelling messaging and positioning for technology products.

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $136,000 to $187,900.
For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $150,300 to $206,700.
For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $150,300 to $225,500.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
