Role Description:
We are looking for a self-starting, team-orientated, and passionate Product Marketing Manager to drive and deliver innovative product marketing, including messaging, content, and events for our SMB business. You will be a product and marketing expert, translating the needs of customers and sellers across marketing, product, and field teams. You will be responsible for working cross-functionally with product, marketing, go-to-market, and sales teams to create messaging, positioning, content, and go-to-market strategies grounded in user research and data analysis. You will own a wide variety of initiatives that support demand generation, pipeline generation, and help drive deals to close.
Responsibilities & Impact:
- Craft clear, concise, and impactful messaging that highlights the value and differentiation of SMB solutions
- Be the segment expert for stakeholders across product, marketing, and distribution for SMBs
- Define and create high-quality content, while aligning to supporting marketing campaigns
- Create and produce content for Salesforce events such as World Tours, Dreamforce, webinars, and 3rd party events
- Support and execute thought leadership campaigns to establish the company as a trusted SMB partner
- Collaborate with Salesforce customers and partners to showcase innovative use cases and success stories
- Drive alignment across cross-functional teams to develop cohesive intergrated marketing across all product marketing teams supporting SMBs
- Monitor industry trends and report on competitive positioning and messaging gaps
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, industry marketing, or growth marketing
- Strong written and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas
- Ability to strategize and craft compelling messaging
- Phenomenal teammate with a proven track record leading and inspiring through influence
- Hands-on experience building a range of marketing assets, including compelling positioning and messaging, succinct slide pitch-decks, demo videos, and event/webinar content
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with SMBs, startups, and high growth companies
- Expertise in Salesforce products
- Outstanding organizational skills to define and balance multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively within a dynamic environment
- A natural collaborator
- Get-it-Done confidence to pick up and lead new projects even in the face of ambiguity

For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $127,200 to $213,800.
