We are seeking a Sydney based Employee Success People Consultant (ESPC) to join our Employee Success (Human Resources) Business Partner team.
Job Description
An ESPC is similar to an HR Advisor role externally and offers a dynamic and impactful career path.
This individual will partner closely with other ES teams, including local & global ES Business Partners, Employee Relations, People Services & Operations, Compensation, Mobility, Recruiting, and Talent Development to coordinate, roll out ES programs and initiatives that support the business needs of the organisation. This role will also provide direct and specialised manager & employee support, coaching and enablement on a variety of ES topics and programs, including but not limited to, talent initiatives and programs, general employee relations, compensation data analysis, and audits and ad hoc analytics.
The ideal candidate is one who is interested in making an impact at scale in one of the fastest growing companies and the industry; excels in a fast paced, high engagement environment; and is looking to collaborate with a strong ES Organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with managers and employees to resolve medium to complex issues, providing guidance, coaching, and support to resolve ambiguous situations.
- Play a key role in the development, planning, and execution of critical ES initiatives, including being responsible for tracking project objectives, timelines, and communication plans.
- Leverage and adapt global resources for consistent service delivery at scale.
- Provide enablement and delivery support for high-impact initiatives, including talent assessment, high-potential and manager development, organisational design, compensation planning, employee engagement, and retention.
- Provide operational and analytical support to ESBPs and business leaders with quantitative data to support tactical and strategic HR initiatives.
- Assess and interpret trends and metrics around employee satisfaction, attrition, and turnover, partnering with ESBPs and Leaders to establish recommendations for improvement or enhancements based on analysis.
- Identify opportunities for automation, AI-driven solutions, or process improvements to create efficiencies.
- Understand program direction and initiatives, lead with minimal direction, and present actionable recommendations and suggestions.
- Uphold and promote a strong ES brand and presence, making a tangible impact on the organization.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with the Global ESBP/PC teams, effectively representing the APAC perspective.
Requirements:
- Experience as HR Generalist, or HR Operations or HR Analytics
- Demonstrated ability to support diverse, geographically dispersed, multicultural fast paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and proactive
- Ability to develop effective relationships across all levels of the organisation and with diverse client groups
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a strong and succinct communicator
- Ability to collect, assimilate, analyse and present data.
- Must have solid knowledge of Google Suite (Sheets and Slides) or other spreadsheet and presentations software
- Ability to partner with COEs to design, build, and implement programs and processes to support business needs
- General knowledge of employment policies and practices
- Excel at connecting the dots and facilitating meaningful relationships, driving collaboration and success.
- Strong communication style through multiple mediums like Slack channels, meetings and facilitating sessions of various topics, allowing for effective information flow and collaboration.
Nice to Haves:
- Ability to mentor or coach other team members.
- Genuine interest in learning and developing themselves, their peers and the wider business.
- Knowledge of staffing, compensation, and talent management standard processes
- Experience working with Workday HRIS and Salesforce platforms like Tableau, Trailhead, etc.
Skills:
- Internal Consulting: Collaborate effectively with ESBP and business stakeholders to understand needs and requirements, providing timely and impactful support.
- Data Analytics: Proficient in the use of Tableau dashboards and Google Sheets, with the ability to perform intermediate VLOOKUPs/pivot tables.
- Data Visualization: Intermediate level of data visualisation skills to present data in a meaningful way that tells a compelling narrative.
- Project Management: Experience in managing projects, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
- HR Experience: Demonstrable experience in an HR generalist capacity supporting projects and cyclical processes (performance, remuneration, etc.), through on-the-job experience, continued study, or professional development.
- Key Attributes: Curiosity, positivity, no job too small, keen to learn. A self-starter who gets stuck in, figures out how to get things done, and seeks help or clarity when needed.
