We are seeking a dynamic Employee Success Business Partner (ESBP) Director to provide a full range of ES business partnership across the Salesforce ASEAN business. This role provides an opportunity to have a significant impact on our business success as a strategic talent partner to ASEAN leadership. In partnership with the ASEAN leaders you will drive the people strategy across this diverse region, with a focus on change management, workforce planning, leadership coaching and equality.
This role is a connector between our global people priorities and the evolving needs of our ASEAN region. We are looking for an ESBP with proven capability of excelling in a fast paced environment and is comfortable working in a diverse and matrixed organisation. You will be part of the ASEAN ESBP regional team reporting into the Senior Director, Employee Success Business Partner, ASEAN.
Your Impact:
- Operate as a trusted advisor by using professional credibility and strong relationships with senior leaders to influence key people priorities.
- Support and work with business teams to understand current and future goals and trends that may impact workforce needs and initiatives. Proactively engage with leaders on people strategy through workforce planning, location strategy, organisation design and structure.
- Build and execute on the people strategy that aligns with the business objectives focusing on the talent needed to execute on the vision. Influence results through leader development, succession planning, skills gap analysis etc.
- Use data to influence business decisions that align to the strategic direction of the organisation.
- Strengthen the leadership team by providing coaching and development to senior leaders.
- Act as a change-agent as the business continues to rapidly grow and adapt to every changing market dynamics, competitive landscape, and technological advancement.
- Innovate on existing programs to help leaders look around corners and drive better organisational results.
- Partner to drive equality initiatives with consideration for talent movement, recruiting and representation as well as targeted development initiatives. Collaborate to develop equality action plans in partnership with our Equality team.
- Partner with our global Employee Success Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver seamless employee success processes and programs across the organisation. As a senior member of the ES team, this role may also create cross-functional initiatives and must be able to think beyond the aligned client group for broader impact and understanding.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Interpersonal skills and organisational agility. Ability to develop the trust of business executives and the support of the Employee Success COEs. Demonstrated ability to drive major initiatives and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong business acumen. Recognises and enjoys the business side of business. Has interest in the organisation's performance, finances and operations and how talent management affects each. Approaches problem solving from a business-first perspective.
- Change management skills. A tenant of the ESBP is to add value through change management; to help pivot the culture and improve overall effectiveness of the business. They should understand and have experience successfully applying a model of change management.
- Knowledge of HR/ES programs and processes (e.g. compensation planning, performance management, workforce planning, talent management and various employment/labor laws).
- Project management. Experience in being independently accountable for delivering complex projects in a matrix organisation. Leads process improvement to project planning as we evolve our playbook.
- Problem solving and critical thinking. Approaches problem-solving from an evidence-based perspective, using sound reasoning and recognising how emotion affects decisions and implementation.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Must be a concise communicator who can communicate a story effectively with data.
- Works effectively under pressure in a fast-paced and often changing environment.
- Knowledge and experience working across ASEAN region (including Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia) is preferred.
