The Director of Strategy and Operations, Salesforce AI, plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction, driving operational excellence, and ensuring alignment across the company to drive our generational objectives to be the leader in AI+Data+CRM.

They are responsible for supporting the broad Salesforce AI team in developing and executing our go-to-market strategy in partnership with product management, marketing, sales, customer success, pricing strategy, finance, and legal teams to ensure Salesforce AI's success in the market. This dynamic leader boasts a proven track record in strategic planning, execution, and cross-functional collaboration in complex organizations. They have experience in SaaS products, AI transformations, and product strategy in rapidly developing, high-speed markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of the go-to-market strategy for Salesforce AI products and services, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Manage key AI go-to-market programs from inception to completion, including planning, execution, and measurement of success metrics.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, marketing, and sales teams to develop and execute pricing and packaging strategies that optimize revenue and market penetration.
  • Support pricing and packaging strategy for AI, by working closely with our central monetization organization, finance, product, and others
  • Communicate effectively by developing and delivering presentations to internal and external audiences, clearly articulating the value proposition and benefits of Salesforce AI products and services.
  • Establish and facilitate regular operating rhythms and leadership meetings to foster collaboration, streamline decision-making, and ensure effective execution across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in technology product management, marketing, or sales
  • Experience in startups or smaller organizations that are building new categories
  • Preferred direct experience with the current generation of AI capabilities
  • Experience with managing cross-functional programs
  • Excellent financial analysis and modeling skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $183,600 to $266,300.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $200,300 to $290,500.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
