As the Director of Operations, you will span 3 key areas - Strategy & Management; Planning & Process, Culture & Comms. Each key area requires both macro and micro competencies - the ability to think strategically as well as execute and deliver. As the strategic partner to the SVP and Leads, this role is critical to being the eyes and the ears on the grounds while also operationalizing and driving the business forward and actively solutioning against challenges and opportunities.
Strategy and Management :
• Act as a strategic partner to the SVP and Leads, helping to build and operationalize annual and quarterly plans and programs
• Partner with the SVP to drive top Marketing initiatives, actively partnering with key cross-functional leaders to align on strategy, operating models, resourcing, and execution
• Partner with SVP to create the narrative, content, and supporting data for key leadership moments; build the necessary frameworks to operationalize meetings and report-outs/communications
• Own and lead the annual planning process across the team, partnering closely with key cross-functional partners to find efficiencies, provide transparency, and unlock shared narratives
• Proactively share potential issues or points of tension with leadership and provide / discuss workable solutions, and help to deliver; actively identify and drive opportunities for the business that will result in efficiencies, better ways of working, etc.
• Develop operating models and frameworks for approaching work cross functionally
• Partner with key cross-functional teams like Finance and Sourcing to help to evolve and drive the business forward e.g. develop more efficient working models, better spending, reporting, etc.
Planning & Process :
• Build a contractor management program, developing the process to identify, onboard, and manage resourcing needs across the team
• Partner with SVP, Leads and HR on team structure and talent management inc. annual headcount planning, calibrations/reviews, etc.
• Build and manage an agency management program, inc. owning a global agency roster, managing agency capabilities presentations, quarterly agency reviews, and an agency onboarding program
• Manage budget for SVP and Leads, inc. forecasting/annual planning, day-to-day management/tracking and comms
• Build and own measurement framework to show the business value and impact of the team
Culture & Comms :
• Build the agendas, format and content narratives for all Leadership and team-level meetings inc. weekly staff meetings and quarterly all hands, team onsites
• Create and evolve/manage onboarding program for team new hires, in partnership with company & MKTG onboarding program workstreams
• Lead career initiatives in partnership with Leads inc. titling exercises, career development planning, etc.
• Develop and manage employee programs such as surveys, award programs, etc.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $177,600 to $257,600.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
