At Salesforce, we're seeking an outstanding individual to support the Middle East territory as Data & AI Architect - Field CDO
Salesforce Agentforce and Data Cloud, our flagship innovations, harnesses the power of real-time data analytics and AI to redefine Customer 360, enabling scalable, high impact customer interactions.
As a part of our Solution Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in crafting customer engagement and delivering ground-breaking results! We are looking for individuals with deep Data and AI knowledge and strong experience in selling complex technology solutions, understanding cloud-based services, and designing B2B solutions. Collaborating with potential clients, you will dive deep into understanding their needs and challenges ultimately showcasing how Agentforce, Data Cloud are the answers for their most critical business goals.
The Data & AI Architect / Field CDO is a customer-facing enterprise-wide authority with broad and deep awareness around the data, analytics and AI domains, paired with a good eye for business and partner engagement skills.
The Data & AI Architect / Field CDO is an authority in categories that may include business strategy, AI, data, analytics, cloud and enterprise architecture. Field CDOs are encouraged to have strong sales and technical skills and use validated consultative approaches to engage with customers and motivate them for their transformation journey, along with defining the steps to get there.
This role will have a strong customer-facing element with an emphasis on establishing strong partnerships with our most strategic customers and helping them implement a data analytics strategy that drives values for everyone.
Responsibilities:
- Promote the value of Data & AI and the impact a data-led transformation can have on our customers' business and their customers' experience.
- Contribute to the customer's business planning and strategy by focusing on business capabilities and maturity. Understand customer needs, company's products/services and match them with outstanding technology to define a north-star target state. Help to define prioritization and sequencing of the transformation by proposing a strategic roadmap that leads to the target state. Lead key discussions about change programs.
- Resolve Salesforce (primarily focus on Agentforce and Data Cloud) and third-party technologies to leverage in the customer's architecture landscape, based upon product knowledge, industry experience and frameworks.
- Clearly articulate business architecture (mission/vision, capability models, capability assessments) and technical architecture (current and future state diagrams, solution standard processes, reference architectures, design patterns) to an executive audience.
- Share reliable and trusted -data rich- points of view of relatable customer transformations in the industry i.e. how other customers with similar needs have succeeded in their transformation.
- Help build our business through effectively engaging with account executives and solution engineers to develop opportunities for customer-facing enterprise analytics engagements.
- Participate in all appropriate product/sales training, certifications, educational sessions and industry summits to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position.
- Share engagement experience with the internal audiences and enrich collective IP. Conduct enablement sessions to mentor and guide other architects and solution engineers.
Required Experiences and Qualifications:
- Proven success in either Data, AI, Enterprise Architecture fields over a period of 8+ years.
- Experience in delivering Data & AI solutions based on data-led transformations that demonstrate value and tackle meaningful business challenges.
- Deep understanding of Data Architecture, Data Governance and Analytics topics.
- Deep understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, understanding of the agent platform, how to configure and set up agents, hook them into existing flows, automation, api connection, etc.
- Strong technical selling skills including the ability to explain Data Architecture, AI models and solutions to non-technical clients and how Data + AI capabilities and solutions can translate to business.
- Deep appreciation of the CDO role and ability to nurture influential relationships with C-level executives.
- Credible knowledge around common enterprise architect topics such as persona based journeys, process orchestration, master data management, analytics and insights etc.
- Keen appreciation of Enterprise and Cloud Architecture and the principles of modern platforms including SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, multi-tiered infrastructure, networking, security principles, etc.
- Proven grasp of Salesforce platform capabilities, or similar data and analytics platforms.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills honed through your experience.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with extensive background in technology sales.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
Advantageous/Preferred Experiences and Qualifications:
Chief Data Office or Chief Data Scientist experience.
Proven ability to craft and communicate data and AI strategies that align with business objectives.
Deep knowledge on Salesforce Data, AI and Analytics technologies.
Knowledge of analytics platforms like AWS S3, DataBricks, Google Big Query, Snowflake Microsoft Fabric.
Knowledge of AI/Generative-AI solutions from vendors like AWS, Google, Microsoft.
Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., Salesforce, AWS, GCP, Azure) and advanced data modeling techniques.
A deep understanding of data security, compliance, and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
