We put this into action with the Salesforce India Return to Work Program, which provides women who have taken a career break a platform and opportunity to jumpstart their professional journey.

It is a six months program on third party contract and over the course of six months, program participants will work within Salesforce's Technology, Sales, or Customer Success team, receive on-the-job training from Salesforce leaders, and be paired with a mentor to help navigate their career.

Overview of the role:

We are looking for high-energy, driven professionals with sound business sense, strong technical proficiency, and natural sales instincts to join our Sales Development organization as a Sales Development representatives. You will gain experience interacting with clients of all levels, in various industries and across the country. Ideal candidates should be eager to advance through a clearly defined learning and earning path. Responsibilities:

  • New Sales and Business Development - Through C-Level engagement and a consultative, customer-centric selling approach, you will qualify opportunities by exploring to understand complex customer challenges and business pains while educating prospects on the value of Salesforce solutions and how they can integrate with the CRM ecosystem
  • Strategic Alignment - Responsible for connecting with AEs and cross-functional teams to create and prioritize strategic target account lists within defined industries and territories. Identify and generate new business opportunities to fuel up-market growth. Lead demand generation and campaigns from conception, planning, execution, and launch. Engage in all steps of the Sales Cycle to ensure smooth Pipeline Progression to maximise results
  • Outperform your targets - Deliver and exceed strategic goals and committed targets by responding with a quality pipeline, focused on both Install Base and White Space accounts
  • Become a "Social Selling Sensei" - Develop your professional brand and engage with your prospects to build trusted relationships by providing insights tailored to their specific needs and interests

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently on a career break of minimum 1 year.
  • 5+ years of proven track record of success in sales/business development in a target-driven environment, ideally in CRM/Saas/High-Tech
  • Strong prospecting skills and ability to engage CXOs and Founders in building a value proposition for Salesforce 360 platform.
  • High motivation, resilience, positive demeanour, and ambition to build a career at Salesforce
  • Very strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build influential relationships and deliver results in a cross-functional environment
  • Very strong business sense, and curiosity about technology and how it's shaping businesses.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and meet those needs with a successful product sale
  • Ability to multi-task, take initiative, prioritize, and handle time effectively
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Interest to advance in our organization by demonstrating their ability to be tenacious self-starters every day.
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
