An opportunity exists in our Tableau Sales organisation for a Regional Leader looking to further their career in a hyper-growth, fast-paced and dynamic environment! We are seeking an exceptional and ambitious 2nd line Sales Manager who will play a key role in driving strategic, Tableau sales initiatives for the Benelux and Nordics regions.
Role Description:
As a Regional Leader, you will play a key role leading a team of highly visible and motivated Sales Managers and Sales Executives in our expanding Tableau North sales operation that generates revenue and achieves individual, team and organisational quotas. You will also play a key role in developing our channel and run marketing to raise the market positioning of Tableau in the region to a new level. Ideal candidates should possess solid business-to-business (B2B) sales and prior Enterprise Sales management experience.
Your Impact:
Development of a growing and diverse team who are seen as trusted advisors to our customer(s) and with internal team members
Execute and develop Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for the team to increase our market share and fuel the expansion of Tableau across the region
Supporting Account Executives by participating and leading in client meetings and engaging other teams as required
Management of a high performance team with a high focus on Quarterly Quota Attainment, including recruiting, hiring and training
Manage a reliable business with high forecast accuracy and accountability
Help build a strong sales channel and North region-specific marketing activities with the Channel and Marketing teams
Driving pipeline generation initiatives to improve revenue generating opportunities for the customer account(s)
Build strong team unity, internal connections, and collaboration across the Salesforce eco-system
Mentor and professionally develop Account Executives regarding strategies to ensure a high level of closure rates and opportunity identification
Engaging at the C-level in customer organisations
Accurate reporting on sales activity and forecasting to Area Sales Management
Consistently supervising and enhancing the sales activities of the team
Be an enabler of an inclusive and winning team spirit
Required skills:
- Consistent track record in building / managing high performance teams and achieving quarterly targets
- 2nd-line Management experience (Managing Managers) preferred
- Developing a strong presence in a market including sales, channel, marketing strategy
- Able to operate and navigate successfully in a matrix / multi-product sales environment
- A passion for and/or knowledge of selling Business Intelligence / Data Analytics solutions
- Experience selling transformational technology solutions to major Enterprise customers and Commercial Businesses
- Extensive experience in solution sales (especially Software / SaaS / Cloud) from Demand Generation to Closing
- People management experience, including accountable performance management
- Proven ability to create, grow and inspire successful teams
- Excellent interpersonal skills; able to inspire and build trusted relationships (internally and externally)
- Passion for supporting team development, as well as for their own self-improvement
- A self-starter that can excel in a fast-paced environment
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
