AI Transformation Advisors are orchestrators who guide customers through their AI transformation, ensuring each customer is considering the right factors at the right point in time from the presales part of their journey right up through launch. This role is pivotal: think of an AI CTO, a Generative AI specialist serving as both a strategic consultant and trusted technical and business advisor to our largest and most complex enterprise customers. You will dedicate 50% of your time to billable engagements and the remaining 50% to assisting in pre-sales activities, all to guide customers through their AI transformation journeys and champion innovation.
Your Impact: Responsibilities
- Billable Customer Engagements (50% utilisation target)
- Guide the successful execution of customer pilots, proofs of concept (POCs), and production software: You will act as a strategic advisor and mentor to project teams, aligning AI-powered solutions to the business requirements of enterprise customers and helping them transform their organisations with AI capabilities.
- Guide the delivery of Agentforce and other Salesforce AI projects: This includes ensuring the capabilities and limitations of AI products are well understood and effectively communicated to the team and clients.
- Strategic AI Consulting: Act as an AI consultant to internal and external technical and business strategy teams, providing expert insights.
- Customer Management: Build strong relationships with internal and external customers, articulating complex AI concepts clearly.
- Methodology Implementation: Guide the application of methodologies like Design Thinking, Agile, SAFe, etc., to drive customer success
- Pre-Sales Support
- Proposal Development: Craft and present compelling AI proposals and solutions to executive customers.
- Use Case Validation: Analyze and validate AI use cases to ensure they deliver measurable business value.
- Innovation Workshops: Lead and support sessions that inspire AI adoption and ideation.
- Qualify AI Opportunities: Collaborate with our AI Engagement Managers to assess and prioritize AI initiatives that align with customers' strategic objectives.
- Continuous Learning and Innovation
- Thought Leadership: Contribute to the development of strategic AI roadmaps and thought leadership content.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI technologies, tools, and methodologies.
- Share knowledge and insights with the broader team to develop a culture of innovation.
- Collaborate closely with our Responsible AI team to ensure ethical and sustainable AI use, with AI Technical Architects to build robust tools, and with AI Solution Architects to embed AI solutions seamlessly within Salesforce products.
Required Experience, Qualifications & Skills
- Experience
- Minimum of 10+ years in technical consulting with a strong focus on AI/digital transformation and enterprise software solutions.
- Proven experience in customer-facing roles, with the ability to influence and engage customers from managers to C-level executives.
- Technical Proficiency
- Familiarity with Salesforce products and AI capabilities, including Agentforce, Einstein Predictive and Generative AI, Einstein Bots.
- Understanding of Generative AI technologies such as Neural Networks, Large Language Models, Prompt Engineering, and Vector Databases.
- Ability to act as a hands-on technical architect when necessary and guide the delivery of AI solutions.
- Methodological Expertise
- Proficient in (one or all of the following): Human-Centered Change and Design, Agile, SAFe, and project management methodologies.
- Experience in analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes through technology and integration.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative subject area.

- Proficiency with Salesforce Data Cloud or similar technologies and experience in embedding AI-driven solutions seamlessly within enterprise environments are essential assets for this role.
- Leadership Experience
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior consultants.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $157,900 to $217,200.
For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $143,500 to $197,400.
For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $172,200 to $236,900.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
