The role:
As Account Executive for Mulesoft, you will engage with customers and prospects across Continental EMEA to sell the MuleSoft platform. You build positive, trusted relationships with both key team members and c-suite decision makers, and become natural at helping customers realize value from their Salesforce investments.

Requirements:

  • Develop opportunities, through both warm leads and whitespace prospecting, within the UN and its subsidiaries worldwide
  • Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction at assigned accounts
  • Assist with the development and execution of overall long-term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives
  • Coordinate internal resources including product support, customer success, and sales engineering to meet customer business needs
  • Assist with account planning at assigned accounts, coordinating with other sales resources (Salesforce NonProfit Core AE's, etc.) to ensure strategic alignment
  • Manage complex sales cycles and present to C-level executives the value proposition of the MuleSoft platform
  • Define and complete territory/account sales plans for assigned territory and then meet and exceed sales goals (quotas) through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities.
  • Develop and manage sales pipeline, prospect and assess sales, and move a large number of transactions simultaneously through the sales pipeline.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven track record of success in sales, ideally with a software/IT background with an emphasis on customer acquisition and positioning of complex enterprise applications for more than 5 years in a Tech/SaaS environment
  • Credibility at all levels and evidence of building strong relationships internally and with the customer.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to build influential relationships and deliver results in a cross-functional environment.
  • Successful history of net direct new business sales, with the ability to prove consistent delivery against targets.
  • High motivation, resilience, and ambition to build a career at Salesforce.
  • Fluent in English, another language is a plus
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core proficiencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
  • Evidence of relationship-building skills with an ability to grow and nurture relationships.
  • Exhibits characteristics of self-starting, risk-taking, and a drive to succeed.
  • Industry experience or experience working in a specialist area of technology in the Non-Profit Sector or Public Sector
