POSITION SUMMARY
Greet and welcome arriving guests as they enter the resort. Assist both arriving and departing guests with luggage. Drive a 15 passenger mini-bus to assist guests with transportation around the resort 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Meet and greet guests at their car/transport vehicle. Welcome and escort guests to and from their rooms and assist with luggage handling during the check-in and check-out procedure. Inform guests of all safety features and promote and up-sell resort outlets, amenities and features. Attend to door and all luggage duties.
- Drive a route over the six and a half miles of roads on Innisbrook Golf and spa Resort property, to transport guests and large groups to and from designated Tram stops on property.
- Interact with guests while driving a tram. The bell services agent being in a guest-contact position, answers guests' questions on the tram, pointing out Resort features, giving information and up selling amenities of the Resort.
- Transfer of guest luggage and golf clubs to ensure proper handling and completion. During check-in process, Bellman to explain guest rooms, key lock, emergency exists, check bathroom toiletries, luggage rack in closet, offer ice, telephone extensions, check air conditioning, offer T-times and ensure guest accommodations are up to expectations.
- Inspection of vehicle to assure tram / bell van is in proper safe working order and filling out of daily Inspection log.
- Maintaining a clean vehicle by sweeping the inside and wiping down the seats when needed. Along with washing the outsides of the vehicles.

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the hotel:
- Any additional request involving assignments (light-duty in nature) as requested by the manager on duty.
- Being eyes and ears on the Resort, ready to report any anomalies, traffic hazards or circumstances which need to be reported to Security Department, the Bell Captain or Front Office Management team.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school or equivalent (GED) education required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
- Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
- Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written and use of two-way radio device.
- Must possess basic computational ability.
- Must possess basic computer skills.
- Must be able to handle guest golf clubs for storage.
- Must be able to respond to guest requests and business volume quickly and efficiently.
- May be required to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Tasks are performed both indoors and outdoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by resort environmental systems; however, will be required to work at an outside environment during the course of the day to assist with luggage and transportation. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours or more in length.
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other departments and locations of the hotel on a timely basis.
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space.
- Must be able to easily use Bellman hand cart to facilitate luggage transfer for guests.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
- Must be able to bend, squat and lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
- Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
- Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
- Must be able to adhere to Front rotation system at Bellstand.
- Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
- Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.

- Must be able to work effectively in a stressful environment, communicate with others, effectively deal with customers and accept constructive criticism from supervisors
- Must be able to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions.
